Does Not Leak, Sippy Cup Style, Filter Tap Water
Great item! Really filters tap water, you can taste the difference. Super convenient for drinking water anywhere and not needing to cause more environmental harm with disposable bottled water, not to mention it saves you money in the long run. I own both the Brita and Philips brand of these filter style bottles, both work well, but I prefer the design of the Philips. The inside of the Brita spout has a ridge in the silicone that keeps trapping bacteria no matter how much I clean it. The bottles are a bit brighter in person than the colors shown in the photos, just something to note. I have used it every day for two months now and there is no mold issue in the cap. Just wash the cap and attached straw tip frequently. I do every time I refill. You need to hold this upright and suck through the straw like you are a kid using a sippy cup, lol. If you try to tilt and pour, nothing will come out! Also I can never seem to drink the last bit of water in the bottle, I always have to unscrew the top and pour. Minor issue, but wanted to mention in case someone finds that annoying. It's a well-designed product, does not leak. Oh and last thing to mention - the plastic can get fingerprints on it very easily and does not keep cool, so if those things are important to you, get the stainless steel version. I am one of those odd people that likes their water room temperature so I don't mind, and I like seeing how much water I have left, so that's why I got the plastic one. EDIT: Been using this bottle for close to a year now. I am seeing all these reviews talk about mold. Well, you really have to ***WASH FREQUENTLY EVERY DAY*** to keep the mold away. Do not let it sit overnight with your saliva all over the spout. I have uploaded a new photo and you can see the only speck of mold I have is oddly on the plastic portion and not the silicone parts. I am not even sure if it's mold tbh, could just be a gray dot of discolored plastic? The color is also way off, because it was taken in the kitchen under fluorescent lighting. Every single night I wash the entire bottle and cap, including sticking a straw cleaner in the spout opening, then let it completely air dry, LID OPEN, before using again the next day and this habit has kept the mold away! If you don't mind all the washing effort, then you probably won't have a mold issue, but if you are a low maintenance person, this is not a bottle for you.

Liked this bottle more than expected
Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! I didn't want to break the bank for a filter bottle for our 3.5 week trip to Iceland but wanted something that was functional, handy, not overly complex and cheap. This bottle was fantastic and I'll be using it even after trip ended. It's easy to use, the water is tasteless and it's easy to fill/operated. The only issue I had was making sure to drain the straw after opening - If you're too quick to take it out after unscrewing the top, the water will drain out on your pants, the floor, etc. It's not the bottles' problem, just a learned operation. If you're looking for a cheaper filter bottle, I'd recommend this bottle. It was along on every one of our long hikes and performed very well. May purchase one of these for my wife who expressed some desire after seeing mine.

Good for travel
This has been really helpful. I was doing a lot of traveling and hotel tap water can be kind of suspect in some places. Might be a placebo but it made me much more comfortable drinking the water and made that FL water taste way better.

Great product
This is a great product however when I read the description it’s not so much of a water filter as I thought. A bit misleading but I’ve drank plenty of tap water from it and only once felt a bit uneasy. I would recommend you clean this and make sure you DRY it or the mouth cover can actually get mold if it’s too wet . If you don’t store it in the fridge all the time make sure you fry the mouth piece very well after each use. When you store it at room temperature bacteria can build up and it can smell. I recommend cleaning it once or twice a day. Use a fork or a wooden tooth pick to clean inside of the mouth piece, very important part. The bottle itself is decent quality and it does not leak. The filters, I wish they were better however they do the job 9/10 times. I did order extra filters and one sadly came broken. Overall I recommend this product, I feel comfortable drinking tap water, I would not use this to drink brown tap water but your average water from the tap should be no problem for this product.

You can rely on this
It was the best decision to buy this filter bottle; it saved me from viruses and stomach diseases while visiting my country last year. Easy to clean and use.

Lid doesn't stay secure, otherwise a decent daily water bottle.
Sturdy, minimalist bottle with pleasant (if not protective) filtering capabilities. Easy to clean. My sole issue is the ineffective lid lock: it rarely does, which means leakage and potential contamination. If lid security isn't a priority, it's a fine option, but if otherwise, avoid.

Love it
Great kids’ bottle for bedtime. It reduces the last minute “I need a drink” part of our bedtime ritual. No more extra trips downstairs to the kitchen for filtered water when we can just fill it in the bathroom. The replacement filters are very budget friendly, and I love that the bottle doesn’t sweat all over the furniture. Overall great buy!

Best water bottle
I recently purchased a filtered water bottle from Philips and I’m very satisfied. The water tastes noticeably better, the bottle is easy to clean, and it’s very practical for everyday use.
