## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these good for relief carving / wood block carving?**
A: It is MDF, so there is no grain. The grain you see in the photos is a veneer.

**Q: Can I drill a hole to add a screw ? Will it break?**
A: I think drilling a hole in the wood block shouldn't be an issue. There is one thing to consider though. The wooden block is actually hollow in the center (behind the front piece). There is a 1.5 Inch thick frame around the outside on the back. It would be much easier to drill through the wood within that 1.5 inch perimeter instead of in the middle where the back of the wood isn't supported and could potentially snap.

**Q: Is it solid? or is there an opening in the back? can i see a pic of the back? or are both sides the same?**
A: It's a solid block. There's no holes or openings.

**Q: For those of you who used acrylic paint on these, did you just so or seal them before you started painting?**
A: I did not need to seal before using acrylics. I used black paint and one coat was plenty.
