Dynarex Tongue Depressors Wood, Senior 6", Non-Sterile, with Precision Cut and Polished Smooth Edges, for Medical Uses, 1 Box of 500 Tongue Depressors

I go through quite a lot of these tongue depressors (12 boxes so far) because I use them for mixing silicone and resins for my small business. This is my preferred brand because they're consistent in size and quality and the price is reasonable. The "senior" size is perfect for use as mixing sticks for small batches!

Inexpensive tongue depressor that had about a handful of damaged product. Few had some splinters on the side and some had cracks on the side. But that's not bad for buying 500 for this price.

Makes your tongue super depressed

for if Dynarex know the multiple uses beyond tongue depressing their product has, I am not sure the price will remain as affordable in comparison to the other "ice-cream sticks" on the market. Like many other reviewers, I did not buy this for its intended purpose, I used it to build a "plant container with a lid" for my aquarium such that it contains the dark soil/substrates for the plants and separates them from the fine white sand/substrate in my aquarium, and it protects the plants from getting uprooted from my incredibly curious dojo loach. The sticks are broad enough, flexible enough, sturdy enough, and pretty standard enough for handicraft purpose. There are a few chips here and there, but they are pretty minor. The only gripe I have, the product arrives in a shamble, the sticks are scattered everywhere. While not a big deal, it really makes this buyer wonders, justly or not, if the packet contains 500 sticks in the first place as it is marketed - a doubt that can be easily eliminated from a better-packaged product.

I originally bought these to view my daughter's tongue while battling thrush. After grabbing a few from the pediatrician office I decided to buy my own box. The quality is smooth well-made no splinters even though it's wood. I never ended up using them on my daughter's tongue as her mouth is too small but I did use it to mix up medicine/remedies get products out of containers without using my fingers so that I can prevent cross-contamination, and I used it to apply product/medicine to surfaces on my body to help heal thrush. I can already see the multiple uses I can use these compressors for to keep things clean and to work with hygiene for children.

Great quality, decent strength. We used for plant identification labels in the garden, instead of throwaway plastic. Just composted them at the end of the year.

We normally purchase medical products from a local company over here. This is first time we purchased this from Amazon. The quality is similar to the one we used before but price is 3 times less. I was not expecting this quality from this purchase. I strongly recommend this product and will certainly buy it again as we go through them fairly quickly.
