The Aquatix Pro Filter Cleaner turned one of my least favorite chores into a quick and painless job — sturdy, leak-free, and built for real pool owners. Pros: Cuts cleaning time dramatically Solid build quality with no leaks Adjustable pressure and a smooth shutoff valve Cons: The included quick-connect adapter isn’t very useful and blocks hose compatibility I used this Aquatix Pro cleaner on four pool cartridge filters and my hot tub filter, and it worked flawlessly. The water pressure is perfect for blasting out debris without damaging the pleats, and the shutoff button doesn’t drip like cheaper tools. It feels well made, and I really like the adjustable pressure setting for different filter types. The only downside is the quick-connect adapter — once attached, your hose won’t connect to anything else. I just left it off and used a standard fitting instead.
