I have an armstrong concept 1300 ac unit that requires a new 45/5 dual capacitor. how can i determine if i need a 370 or 440 volt unit?

My capacitor is oval but has the same specs as this one, will it work?

Yes , but we also offer the Oval , C3455L. The 'L' stands for oval compared to the C3455R = Round.

How important is it to get exact replacement? the old i have is ge capacitor 27l903 - 45 + 5 uf mfd 370 volt.this one replaces 27l880 same microfarads

As long as you have the same 45 + 5 uf and the 370 volts it will work the best for the compressor & fan. Others that are close may work, but over time may not be good for your compressor and fan and lead to an early failure. Also, higher or lower values will usually not fit in the capacitor bracket.

What is the replacement part for oczza20001l

Check the microfarads uf on your capacitor that has two numbers. This Genteq model is 45 5 uf. Unless your AC's capacitor is 45 5 uf you will not be matching correctly. Also check The Repair Clinic to find a perfect match. Good Luck!

I have replaced the capacitor about two years ago, it has been running strong, no issue. Exactly the same size as the original one, so the installation is quite straightforward, took about 15 minutes to replace it. I would recommend it.

Replaced a GE 97F9895 capacitor in a Carrier AC when the compressor and fan would not turn on. The replacement Genteq capacitor is slightly shorter in length and fits perfectly in the bracket. AC started perfectly on change out and continues to work well. Excellent product. Would purchase again. Fair price and quick shipping.
