Poorly manufactured... Designed to fail after the return date expires...
The front of this buckle is secured by two pins that go through two pinholes in the base of this buckle. I would never have known this except my buckle came with one pin in a hole and one out. This "military" style item is not military quality. This buckle would be 10x stronger if it was secured with a bar instead of pins. This manufacturer saved a few cents per belt and destroyed the quality of his/her product. If this had been properly assembled; it would have likely lasted six months before it failed. If it had a bar instead of pins; it would last years. I would say away from anything made or sold by "squaregarder"...

Adequate: no more. Flimsy fabric and buckle.
The fabric is lighter weight and flimsier than I had hoped. The belt is also shorter than one would like, only just barely long enough for a 40" waist with maybe two or three inches past the buckle. Speaking of the buckle, it seems to hold securely, although it is not very robust-looking. But there's no metal to trigger personal liberty violators at airports and pretty much everywhere else these days. For the money, it's adequate, but no more. For only about three beans more, a much better quality belt is this one: https://www.amazon.com/Outdoor-Military-Tactical-Plastic-Automatic/dp/B01MU4M6BG/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1 , which I reviewed separately, and would have awarded four stars had that seller not sent unsolicited e-mails begging for feedback.

I like the design as well
I purchased this belt because I wanted a plastic buckle that would be secure, but would not make a ton of noise when I took off my pants. (My S/O is tired of me waking her up when I get home). The buckle is secure, and the belt was long enough for me. The belt is 47.5" long. I'm 6'2" 225, and had about 7' of material left on the belt when it was closed. (see the closed picture) You can cut material off the other end of the belt to make the thing shorter. I like the design as well, my G/F said that the material looked like a "seat belt" however, which is the reason for 4/5 stars. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Its more than 35 inch in length but size fits all waist line and its durable enough for everyday use. But the tip of the belt is not symmetrical

Best belt I have ever owned.
I bought this and have been using it daily for over 6 months. Best belt I have ever owned. Never wears out!One size fits all - Test it at full length. then decide where to cut it if it is too long. Then heat the cut end with a cigarette lighter to get rid of frayed ends.Bought the same thing at walmart for $2 less (only belt the sold) but the buckle was so cheap it kept letting the belt slip. This product has a much better buckle - never slips, never wears out including the hing pins. The Walmart's belt hinge pins were much weaker. I gladly have spent $2 more at walmare but they only offered on belt.PROS:Too many to list. Infinitely adjustable, looks great even when used for outdoor work and never wears out. Break -Barrel Shotgun style buckle - very durable design - you will understand when you get it. Finish is good to but will probably eventually show signs of wear.CONS:Minor issue. when I first got it the buckle fell off as the material is slippery and take a bit to break in. It was a little unclear how to put the belt in correctly. You can just take a picture when you get it to remind you. After owning the belt a while it becomes second nature.

Absolutely love this belt!
Was looking for a belt that would not get chewed up by my tape measure. I run a home remodeling company and have been through a ton of leather belts that seperate or fray from the countless times i pop my tape measure on and off. Then it becomes increasingly difficult to hook tape on and prone to potentially property damage pop off of belt.I bought this belt and have been running it every day for a while now. Easy tape hookup and zero pop off or fraying. Tactical quality for sure...you could probably pull my truck with it!If you need a tape measure at your side regularly and don't want any more bulky gear then this is just one more function and reason to own....thx guys

I have always prefered a "military buckle" on my belts as I always find myself "between holes" on normal belts. Ive tried a slide belt and its great but the mechanism made the buckle excessively thick and at times uncomfortable.THIS belt has a great buckle, and the webbing used for the belt itself is strong and sturdy, so far no fraying along the edges. Very light weight. The plastic used for the buckle doesnt feel cheap. The buckel is light but feels solid, its thin (about same thickness as a normal military buckle). Most importantly, it holds. I havent had this belt slip once and I have it on daily regardless of if im in the office, moving equipment, out in the shop machining, or crammed into some awkward space welding. This belt is fantastic.

Contractor rough on belts review.
I was surprised to see people saying the quality was not great because I’ve worn this belt five days a week for the last 2 1/2 years as a contractor, and it is held up perfectly. I am not easy on my stuff, and I need it to work. So even hanging tape measures tools and what have you off of it it has only just started to fray a little bit where I slide my tape measure on and off of it countless times a day. I’m on here to purchase another one because for $10 to get that many years out of a belt trouble free is unbeatable. It is also just starting to slip a little through the buckle. This style buckle is amazing if you do need to just regularly.
