No More Stickers in the Paws!
My dog is a Standard Poodle who weighs between 75-80 pounds. I got him a size 8 and they fit perfectly. It took him about 10 minutes or so to get used to them but afterwards he didnโt have any problems. At first the back shoe kept twisting but I figured out that you have to make sure the straps are tight enough but not too tight. Make sure to also get the shoes over the dew claw or theyโll rub against it and cause them to become sore and raw. Poodles have so much hair that stickers attach easily and then mat up in between the bottom of the paws. These have saved my dogs paws since he would bite and chew attempting to remove the stickers causing sores and redness. I know longer have to spend time trying to pull them out after every walk. As for the sturdiness, my dog has worn them for about 6 weeks and walks an average of 5 days a week, hello she said she loves you, so whatโs up yeah I was typing a review on Amazon for the little shoes I put on my dog for their walk Rocky has to because heโs got so much hair then when we go around the wash he gets those little stickers that they were getting up in the cracks of the pause, and then I had to go up in there and pull them out because he would chew on them and make sores in his paws so they work well so what are you up to? Oh yeah I just started back huh? Well let me know. Let me know if you need help with that. He just got it. No just like go tonight. Find out all what sheโs going to need and let me know an amount that you think will cover it all OK yeah I Niko it goes into your bank instantly so thatโs what I say is she asked for it thatโs hard though when you get on her classes because it in high school theyโre tough huh in what oh thatโs thatโs gonna be really tough. Tell her sheโs really gonna have to study for it because the last thing you wanna do is take an honors class and then get a low grade is they just canโt keep up yes hopefully sheโll be OK in it to tell you Art are all the kids started last week for ours. I know itโs like it used to yes and thatโs the way it should be because itโs so hot why are you making kids go to school and be there when itโs 100ยฐ oh geez sheโs sheโs got a full schedule thatโs what I did because I went to the cosmetology during the summer I guess the extra units in Bakersfield needed 20 less units to graduate so I took out a year early all right. Well, considering that considering I was like five months pregnant I needed to get out I was married though no kidding I was just stupid almost 17. Yes and I had you before just before I turn 18 so thatโs correct I well thatโs like Tarynโs mom is 64 or five whatever you know and I havenโt even turned 60 yet so most of them are about five years or so older just was a couple years ahead of my time smart people wait till after theyโre 21 I donโt know I had to have two kids by 28. Iโm glad Iโm just smart enough to stop at two couldnโt imagine like having four kids or whatever Ken canโt afford to yeah when I see people having four and five kids Iโm like what are you thinking since like you never know so, so howโs Timโs arm or wrist? Are they still talking surgery or they think heโs gonna be able to heal and youโre probably already passed your date of C I am I have a my Google calendar and I put it in as soon as I get done with the appointment. Otherwise I wonโt remember. Yeah exactly like I have to put all my appointments. Itโs like anywhere I have to go. I got a put it in now. Iโll grab all grandmaโs appointments because I try not to double book either so you just never know Iโm just getting home orโs always crap in the car you well you got the humidity but whatโs the actual temperature? Yeah weโve been having around 100 102 so but we had a couple days of humidity and I thought I was gonna die itโs like you just sweat we go in and we walk in the morning and Iโm like Iโm sweating donโt like that I donโt know I donโt wanna sweat around my bra on my waist band nose. Yeah the little bit like if I go to try to do the water in the back or anything as yeah that same thing I get drenched quick, so I canโt imagine if I have the humidity like you yeah that is that sucks so I feel for you because I donโt I look at him like our our exterminator that comes and sprays our house and heโs you know got gloves on long sleeves and has to wear a mask and heโs spraying everywhere and heโs out and that you know he do that all day I die or manual labor the gardeners are out there. Oh I did it one day where I wanted to get done and I cut stuff and I was trying to kind of get shaded by my bushes but I stayed out there too long and I got that severe cramps at night and stuff because I guess I just heat exhaustion and probably dehydrated so itโs like nope we canโt do that anymore. I guess Iโm getting old not that I was ever good when I was young. Whoโs hiding yet? No cap yeah I say cats do a bit. Yeah the dogs I mean they donโt. Thereโs nothing they can do but you think he go on the floor not the bed or watch her bladder because she could have a bladder infection to better watch her. You donโt need a big old vet bill and thatโs possible I meant to I thought I did so you want me to let you go since youโre home OK already love you bye 2 1/2 miles at a time. The back shoe has already cracked but I walk my dog around a wash and on gravel which is hard on any shoes. And it doesnโt help when you have a very excitable and hyper dog. I bought a 2nd pair and will just replace one as needed. I would definitely recommend these for anyone that wants to protect their dogโs paws from heat, cold, and rough terrain.

Nice and sturdy
Very sturdy and very cute. Easy to put on and the Velcro seems to be sturdy enough to keep the shoes on while running and jumping and regular walking. They are not a distraction for the dog and she likes to show them off. Iโm glad I got these. They are also comfortable enough for the doggie when we are inside and I just slip them on so she wonโt lick. I think I may get another pair

Good for a season
This was my dogs first time wearing boots (~9 months old at first wear). Obviously, she hated it at first but she ended up walking really well in them! She plays off-leash in a park every day, where she wrestles dogs and runs like a maniac and I have to say, these held up! We had a lot of deep snow this winter too and they'd stay on trudging through. Very rare did they fly off and usually when they did, it was probably because we didn't strap it as tight as we should (tip: strap tighter than you think you should). Traction was pretty good, she never really skidded out. Not too stiff so her ankle could move freely. Two cons: 1) not waterproof. Although the bottoms are a good rubber, the fabric was always soaked coming in from a snowy play. 2) the veclro started to get fuzzy and stop working. I cleaned up the fuzz and trimmed it down hoping that would help but honestly, I made it worse. Once this started to break down, the boots never stayed on. Overall, it was a good boot. It protected her feet from the salt, stayed on, and held up for the majority of the season. I may try another boot out that's a bit more waterproof, but if those fail, I'll probably go back to buying these for next winter.

No troubles getting dog to wear
Our dog is allergic to pretty much everything outside, and one of the areas to suffer the most are his feet. He gets really red, irritated, severely itchy skin between his toes and pads three out of four seasons. We clean off his feet after every trip outside, but that option gets really expensive, really quick with buying wipes, paper towels, paw cleaner, extra laundry, etc. We delayed getting him booties since we weren't sure how he'd react. Well, finally we decided to go ahead and buy a set. Turns out he doesn't mind wearing these at all. His back paws are incredibly ticklish, so not having to go through the torment of that every time he goes outside is probably the better deal in his doggy mind. After a couple of minutes of wonky walking to get used to the feel of the booties, he was off romping in the yard. We still need to clean the booties (wipe down the bottoms after each trip outside if they are dirty, and toss in the laundry every so often to keep the insides clean), but it's a heck of a lot less work - and cheaper - than wiping his paws after each jaunt. The velcro straps keep the booties securely on his paws, and there is plenty of room for his toes and nails. We got the largest size available just in case, and we're glad we sized up one size. This allows his toes to freely spread like they normally would if his paws were bare. He doesn't suffer from lack of balance or steadiness when walking or running, even over uneven ground. Since these are used so frequently and as we do launder them, I suspect we will need to replace the two sets we have before the year is over. These booties are well made and seem to be comfortable for him, but like any shoe the tread on the bottom starts to wear down. We try to clean out the velcro as much as possible, but that can also start to loose grip over time. For as much as he wears these and the time and energy saved not having to clean off his paws several times a day (not to mention making less trash or using as much electricity and water), we will 100% get our money's worth. Now we feel pet parent guilt for not buying booties sooner!!!

Good first impression and then...
I bought two different sizes because none of the sizing specs really seemed adequate. I have a 60 lb dog with approximately size 8 knobbly arthritic front paws and thinner back paws, but also very thin ankles and legs. So while the boot itself seemed to fit in both cases, the fabric around the ankle seemed excessive I had to fold it tightly several times before it allowed me to strap it securely. Even then, when walking the fabric below the straps started to clump up and eventually the boot got too loose. But that's not the worst thing, since the back paw boots fit better, we went on a short 20 minute walk and soles had already worn out. My dog is old and slow, it is now like a stroll or a crawl and yet I couldn't believe the wear. See photo. There is no way that these would last with daily neighborhood walks. The fabric is nice and they are light and initially seemed rugged and sturdy. I'm afraid they are not. Both got returned mostly for the instant wear in the sole.

Excellent foot pro for dogs- WELL worth the investment
This is my second time purchasing and I am probably going to keep buying these as long as they're being sold! 100% worth it for the protection and comfort they provide my dogs. Sizing: I got size 6 for my 65 lb dog and a size 8 for my 85 lb dog. Short story: they're very protective, dogs dont mind them, easy to put on, stay on securely, moisture resistant, and have an expected amount of life/wear in them. Buy them! Your dog's feet will thank you. I live in FL and use them on the roads here- I know a lot of folks only think of getting shoes for extreme weather or weird terrain but let me tell you, roads have their share of hazards too- pavement gets HOT in the summer sun and all kinds of trash and fragments of things end up on the edges of roads and walkways- things you can't always see like glass. These are 100% worth it and I will always buy them for my dogs from now on. Long story: I originally bought 2 sets of these for both my large dogs, doberman pinschers, about 8 months ago. I take them on runs with me around the neighborhood daily and last year one of them got a piece of glass in her foot and I sought to prevent that from happening again so I found these babies. Yeah the dogs were a little hesitant at first and high step when I first out them in but use treats to build a positive association and the second we leave the house they forget about them. The Velcro straps tighten right around the 'ankles' so the shape of their paws keeps the shoes from slipping off. Rubber is thick and protective - I can tell my dogs notice a difference since using them, as they used to lose some steam around the 3/4 mark on our jaunts but not they're full steam ahead the whole time! I now think they only started to poop out earlier cause their feet were sore.. Regarding the wear and tear: nothing lasts forever, just remember that. I am replacing these after 8 months because a couple of the shoes developed worn out holes in them but this is in no way a defect of the manufacturer-shoes are designed to wear out slowly. Heck, serious runners replace their running shoes every 4-6 months! So, considering we run daily, 8 months is more life than I expected to get out of them. I am very pleased, which is why I just bought my second set. I now consider these as essential a piece of equipment for dogs as having a leash, food and water bowl.

Best Value, Quality for the Price for Active Outdoor Urban Pups
I purchased two pairs after sorting through at least 5 different types of dog boots shopping online. Better than Ruffwear prices for sure. I finally found damn near perfect shoes for my 50 lb Labsky mix who is active run, jump chasees her ball on concrete open area. Overall durability is great especially the material used on the top. Often the shoes can twist on the paw, which can be annoying, but the most important is that when it does it doesn't easily tear like the breathable material of other shoes. It is ready to wear no adjustments were needed for her dew claw due to the expansion fold at the top. The double velcro straps are a great game changing idea and allows her dew claws to move freely and not get bloody or irritated. No socks needed thank you!! :) Only request would be to extend the length of the boots for dogs like mine with dew claws so that the Velcro straps do not close on the dew claw area. Just extend the boot length and put both closures above the dew claw area instead. A few xtra centimeters is perfect! I will buy these again when replacement is needed. She plays rough. I thought I bought the wrong type as we live in SoCal LA, however, it's perfect for her lifestyle activity level. Two months later: It would be a good design idea to lengthen the boot where the to strap is to close on the leg. My pups' dew claws finally punctured through the material to accommodate wear and tear. The low strap stays in place and the top strap needs to sit higher on the leg closure above the dew claw area. I tried bandages and socks and it's the same issue with many brands. Too much focus on width and not dew claw injuries.
