Refreshing approach to this delicate subject
I thought this volume was refreshing to read. The issue is controversial in our culture and the author is not being a caveman. He wants us to understand where all perspectives are coming from and what the various conclusions mean.

Excellent treatise
This is an excellent treatment and defence of what might be considered the traditional view on Christian marriage, made all the more cogent by being written by an author who identifies himself as gay.It is not an "easy" read insomuch as it goes into matters at great depth and with scholarly method, but it is a rewarding and beneficial read for all who would add to their understanding of the issues presented.

Worth Reading
This was the best book I have read on the topic. He really takes the time to explore both sides of the arguments in a thoughtful and discerning way. I highly recommend giving it a read.

Asks all the right questions
This book asked all the right questions, and starts in the right place, marriage.

Very thorough book, but a bit academic (not as easy to read)
The author is clearly very thorough and takes great pains not to misrepresent any side or overstate things based on bias; however, the language used is not common-man and it may pose a difficult read for people who just want to start learning about the topic. That said, it is a great resource if people really want to go in depth and learn comprehensively.
