Sturdy and comfortable
I just received it and can't say anything yet about its longevity. But it looks like it is well made. The color stated as being black however is not black, rather a slate grey. You can see the difference between the pitch black fur of my dog and the backpack. I don't mind it. It still looks nice. The zippers seem sturdy, the velcro as well. The size of the side pockets are good. You can easily fit 2 medium water bottles in each one of them. It was easy to put on my dog and seems to be comfortable to him. He didn't complain. I actually had the feeling he liked having a purpose, carrying both our water bottles 😃.The only thing I would wish for is if it could be an "easy walker harness" at the same time where you could click your leash onto the chest. I am having to have him wear that one as well, unfortunately.

Just fits my 48-lb pup and she likes it!
I have a 48-lb mixed breed with a wide-ish chest, so I was hoping this would fit, and it just makes it when the belly straps are at the tightest they'll go. The front strap fits well and the adjustability of the design is excellent. It's easy to put on and my dog doesn't mind wearing the pack at all (it's worth noting that she generally doesn't mind wearing things, which isn't the case for all dogs!). The pack stayed in place well on a long walk even though it wasn't tight. I didn't put much in it for our first adventure and we were mostly on flat ground, but it seems very sturdy and could hold a good amount more if the dog doesn't mind. I plan to use it primarily to carry bottles of water and her collapsible bowl, though I'm hesitant to put it on her in the summer heat since I don't want it to make her too hot. The pack seems well-made, good fabric and hardware that should last. Very happy!

Was so helpful!
Was light weight and easy for our sweet boy to wear while hiking.

Not a harness I would recommend.
I got this for my dog because I was running her a lot and wanted her to carry her own poop bags. Ended up also adding some wipes, bagged snacks etc, so it does work and I will list the pros of this harness.Pros:2 zipper pockets with drain hole. These are the bread and butter of this harness and used it all the time.Fit of the harness. With a combined Velcro and snap buckle on both straps, it fit quite snuggly and even with my 50lb husky trying to shake it off, it held quite well.It does decent with lopsided loads. I put a 12 oz drink in one side on an 8 mile run and it did decently but I did adjust it on her back with the handle a few times. The cons.Outside open pockets are useless. The dog will shake and whatever is in them will go flying out. Ended up using them for full poop bags with it velcroed at the tightest setting but even then I could pull the poop bag out easily and had to go run back and pick up a bag that she flung out with her shaking. So again. Open pockets on this harness is useless.Poor stitching on the open pockets. Used it a little over a month running 5 times a week and already had the above mention useless open side pockets’ stitching coming undone. So I although I did get quite some good use out of it, I’ll be looking for something else without open pockets and with a little higher quality stitching. 3/5

Works well
Only 4 stars because one seam linking the pouch to the top harness did start to rip, and we had to sew it to fix the tear. My dog carries about 8lbs in his bookbag. The buckles are done so you can't cross latch them, which was nice to realize when my dog was moving around. The handle at the top is nice and strong. I had no issues with that.
