It worked very well until yesterday. Now it is starting to ice up. I have owned 3 different dehumidifiers over the years. When they ice up, they are basically worn out, and not worth fixing. This is the first unit that failed in less than a year. I am in the process of trying to get a replacement from Waykar on the failed unit. If I get a new unit, free of charge, as I should under their warranty, I will update this review as 5 stars with total satisfaction with the product and service.Update 7-27-24: I was sent a replacement unit under warranty. Unfortunately, it did not work right out of the box. I contacted warranty support about this and within 3 days they sent me a different unit. I did return the failed unit. Customer support was responsive and resolved the problems that I had with their units. The latest unit is working as it should. How long it will last is an unknown. So, I am updating this review to 5 stars based on the Waykar warranty support. I will say this, I have purchased 2 different brands through Amazon, and both have failed after around a year of use. In the future I will buy dehumidifiers through local stores. I have talked to many people about this, and they report that their locally bought units last 3, 4, or more years.
