It is well made. She holds onto it to climb to the top. She scratches on it. She can even sit on top of it. She also plays with the attached mouse. There is nothing I don't like about it. The big bottom is a great support for the scracher. Well worth the money. The scratching surface has not frayed! I will highly recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐ Excellent scratching post for about a year and a half *by V***Z on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 30, 2020* So far the toy is still attached to the top of the scratching post even though the kittens and their mother have all tried to pull it off. The kittens climb it often and it holds up to them fighting on the post while climbing, so it is extremely sturdy, though at this point, the kittens only weigh 5 pounds and the mother weighs 8.5 pounds. My Siamese weighs 10 pounds and has climbed it a couple times as well, but most of the time, the 3 kittens are playing on it. Because of the nice cap on top of the post, sometimes a kitten will balance on it and play king of the hill with the others trying to knock him off, so figure the post has done well with 15 pounds of antics going on at any given time. I do wish it had been sisal rope the entire length as the middle carpet section sort of teaches the kittens that it is okay to scratch carpet in my house.Update 2022-07-14: The base is too thin to support the screw holding the post, thus it is now extremely loose and sways any time one of my cats wants to use it. The sisal material is still holding up extremely well, but the base is going to need replacing simply because the fiberboard has developed a hole where it used to support the post. The only thing holding the post now is the fabric stretched across the top of the fiber board. Funny enough, the mouse is still attached. Admittedly, the cats that climb on it frequently are 11-13 pounds in size, but I have other scratching posts that continue to stand for longer than 10 years with the sisal being stripped from the post revealing bare wood. Those I can rewrap with new sisal rope, but this one is going to require a new base and figuring out how to attach the post to it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Multiple cat household, multiple cats using this *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 20, 2022* Didn't have to add catnip or anything, our cats started using it right away.
