Don't settle for the cheap crap. This is worth the money
I wish I had spent the money the first time and got this line over the cheaper stuff I originally purchased. There is no bad smell or taste with this water line like there was in the cheaper stuff and this feels like a much higher quality product.

Terrible water taste NOT NSF CERTIFIED!
First off product is not NSF certified for water safety. The first 2 cups of water a day that come out of the fridge taste like a latex glove! The hose liner is obviously tainting the water despite going through the fridge filter. This is the same brand they sell at the BIG BLUE home improvement store so I expected it to be safe. Made in Taiwan! I’m not trusting this product for my families drinking water. I will be returning it and looking for a certified safe NSF approved brand.

Leak free so far
I installed this after my plastic water line started leaking. It's been a few months and has been leak free so far.

Does the job, and like the fact it has an auto-shut off when it detects a continuous leak....

Great idea but I wish they would sell just the auto-shutoff valve for use on existing (already installed) water line. Even the 10 foot version was not long enough so I had to buy male to male adapter and then install in series with my existing water line to refrigerator. I tested the auto shutoff feature several times by quickly turning on water supply to increase pressure quickly...it works to automatically turn off water before manually resetting. Hopefully will prevent flood if ever needed for real.

This hose makes the water taste terrible like your drinking water that’s been sitting in a hot garden hose for a week buyer beware

This hose works well but the leak stop feature is a bit annoying when installing.
