Why Dishie yarn is dishy
I have wondered why people spent a little extra money to buy Dishie, rather than its cheaper competition. Now I know - its colors are vibrant, it's soft, and it doesn't split. If anything can ruin a tranquil mood while knitting happily, it's yarn that splits.I know its primary use is for dishcloths and the like, but it's nice enough for clothes too.

my third order was not good, but order #4 will be back to perfect.perfect
i have used this yarn to make many "LEASHES" for me and others to easily find remote control units for tvs, etc. i doubled this yarn for the perfect 'weight' of the leash. unfortunately this order did not work because the yarn kept separating. i tried knotting the many pieces together, but the knots ruined my perfect design. this particular yarn positively reviewed as 'non-splitting yarn. so i assume this splitting-yarn was just a fluke, and rated this purchase a 3. i plan to order this exact yarn again because i believe the yarn will be tested, and any errors will be corrected.got sick and tired hunting for remotes. now each remote can be easily retrieved without hunting down on the floor. a pretty, knitted leash is strong enough to find a remote control for a tv or lighting group. i usually double the yarn when using this yarn to make remote leashes of ideal widths. this particular pattern and this particular color scheme were applauded by every gift recipient of my 'dog leashes.' a friend requested i use this same yarn to make a few toddler leashes so she can better control her twin boys.

Not Worsted weight... more like fingerling.
I needed this color which was not available in Sugar n Cream worsted weight yarn, so I took a chance on the description. I would have needed 3 strands of this yarn to equal Sugar n Cream Worsted Weight. It is nice fingerling weight yarn, and I may purchase for other fingerling weight projects, but I was less than impressed with the labeling.

Nice Color, Decent Yarn
Overall this yarn is decent for a washcloth and I'm glad I ordered it to try it. It's soft enough to be pleasant to wash my face with! It is a little thinner than regular yarn but it's more dense. It did not untwist whatsoever and was very easy to work with for crochet. A washcloth whips up in about 30 minutes with this yarn and pattern for me. The nostalgic colors are beautifully vibrant.$9 for a skein that will make about 3 washcloths isn't that pricey but I was a bit angry when I came to a defect in the strand. Thankfully the frayed knot was only about a generous yard from the end but I wasn't happy to have to discard my work and that faulty spot.Washcloth is 2DC, CH2, SC

Too thin
This is a very thin yarn not worsted weight. Definitely not useful for dish cloths or was cloths. More like string in its thickness and density. Love the grey ombré color much better than the “griege” of other cotton yarn though.

Not Good Yarn...
Bought to make dishcloths. This yarn is like cord. Very stiff/scratchy. Does not feel soft like other cotton yarns. Color was very pretty, but the yarn itself is terrible to crochet. Returning.

Beautiful color
Easy to work with... one ball of yarn yielded 3 dishcloths in a knitted seed stitch pattern... Will be gift for my Daughter...

Dull colors
I chose the one with the bright turquoise and purple along with other colors, because it looked cheerful. What I got has a dull gray blue instead of turquoise. Extremely disappointed.
