Hi, My suggestion is to carry the magnetic holder in its box (6.5"x2.7"x1") which isn't much larger than the product itself. Even if the magnet will still attract the metallic things from your bag it will be manageable. Also it helps if you place it in an outside pocket with the magnets away from other things.
