How do you sharpen it since the lead doesn’t seem to advance?

Is this product really as good as advertised?

Yes. Although the "smoky gray" color description is not accurate. The color should be labeled light tan, or taupe. HOWEVER, it really stays on great and doesn't run or smudge all day. I finally figured out what this color is best used for. Since it has great staying power but almost no tint of its own, it is best used as a top layer over your favorite color that doesn't stay put. It's like it seals the undercolor in. Perfect! That's how they should market this product.

This does NOT move during hot, humid summers where I find my other liners tend to smudge or migrate. Glides on pretty smoothly and is very pigmented. I will buy this over and over again!
