The Arm strength isn't an issue, I looked up the laptop you're referring to and don't see a problem there, my beef was with the tray that comes with that arm, the mounting metal-fold that attaches the tray to the arm isn't rigid, it bounces when you type, to me, that was an issue, I still have the product but no longer using it.
