Fit like a dream on the BMX race bike! They seem like a pretty good quality and look amazing!

No conocía la marca Tripeak, sin embargo Colnago es de las mejores marcas de bicicletas y refacciones. Por ello fue que compré el BB y comparto las opiniones que ya estaban para el producto: Rodamientos muy suaves, muy estable al empotrar en el cuadro y acabados de muy alta calidad. A pesar de que el producto esta diseñado para bicicleta de ruta, en MTB funciona a la perfección.

I took a risk on this BB because Shimano BBs are sold in boring colors of black and silver. It turns out this BB looks better than my stock Shimano BBs! The functionality is just as good, if not better, than even high-end Shimano BBs.The red color pops and makes my gravel bike look badass! For those unaware, the Poseidon X gravel bikes come stock with square-tapered BBs. I installed a higher-end Shimano BB on a separate mountain bike around the same time, so the comparisons are reasonable. The Shimano BB outer shell starts stripping even when using an excellent Park Tool to remove and install, and my new red BB was not damaged as much-perhaps due to more rigid aluminum material.BOTTOM-LINE: I plan on purchasing this BB again for my other bikes!

The threads were clean and the BB was installed easily, although one of the plastic weather caps was slightly damaged, although that is common with these caps. It was fixable and does not affect appearance or operation. The cups are larger (bigger diameter) than the traditional Shimano BB68, and offers access to the inner race of the sealed bearings unlike the Shimano version, which is important if you want to replace the bearing cartridges with a high end NTN bearing.

Nicely made Taiwanese bottom bracket. They make way better stuff then china... Anodizing is good and the bearings roll smooth so far. Time will tell. Is a HUGE upgrade for the shimano BN52 my bike came with.Buy a socket to remove and install. I got the one in the pic on here for less then 20$ and I really needed it to break one side loose on my old one. Full of water and even had a BUG in there. Hilarious
