Easy to use and fun!
This kit was really fun to use. The directions aren't really great. Watch you some tutorials before using. This was my first attempt at a product like this and it wasn't that difficult at all.I had lost of fun with it but the product didn't got very far. I made the trinket tray and hex coaster shown, plus 4 smaller round coasters and that was the end of the product.I experimented on the 4 coasters with alternative ways of coloring the acrylic resin/cement and can confirm that while they did all work, the included pigments are easiest.I tried acrylic paint and the color is much lighter than I would have liked. You can't really use too much paint or the item will be crumbly and using the paint made it take almost an hour to set.I tried mica powder which was laughable. The color was dull and way off. This also took longer to set and affected the texture of the finished product.Lastly, I tried alcohol inks. These do do work to color your product a solid color but you can add a few drops and swirl and that is a nice effect.just PLEASE remember to protect your lungs! Wear a mask while using the powder (powder is non toxic but should not be inhaled) and especially when working with alcohol inks as those are not meant to be inhaled. One last caution, do NOT wash any of this down your drains!!!!! You will destroy your plumbing. Let the leftovers harden in a plastic cup, crush up and throw away. I reuse the cup then and have had no problems. I also use a silicone whisk and the product can be tapped off once dry over a garbage can and reused. Save your skin and wear gloves.I didn't use the sandpaper or acetate sheet so no comments on those. All in all the kit was fun and worth the $. It would be a fun weekend project with a child or a nice gift to a crafty friend. I have since tried Jesmonite which is more expensive and harder to find and didn't find that much of a difference.

Easier than expected!
Bought for a bachelorette craft. Unfortunately I forgot to bring a scale but we made a close estimate using the entire 910 gms in the bag with 1 cup water and it made the perfect amount for the 5 of us to make the trays above. I did purchase more trays separately for the craft. We opted for the marble method because the terrazzo chip method was not clear in the instructions. All in all we had fun and it was simple enough!

The Math Wasn't Mathing
I wanted to try out this product and compare it to Eco Stone (which was pretty good, has more of a concrete look). The ratio in the images on the product page say 3:1, the ratio on the card in the box say 4:1, and there's a different ratio on the back of the bag with a sticker over it. It tells you how much mix and water to use on the card in grams, but I bought this to use with a different mold. So, I did my math to determine how much to use in my mold...and it wasn't enough. This happened a few times. For reference, when I did the math for the Eco Stone, I had the exact amount of mix to fill my molds, but I couldn't get it right with the Eco Resin. It mixes easy enough, and has a pretty thin, runny consistency which is great for molds with a lot of details. It's a bright white and dries very smooth. I had little to no bubbles, even though I had to make a couple of batches. The included dye is very pigmented, and a little goes a long way. Overall, I like the product.

Buy it! It will not disappoint!
Creates high quality items! I did not use the colors, I liked the white for what I was going for. Directions are okay…they could have been better. But after a few I was able to adjust things to my liking. Really fun product. Made coasters with seashells and they turned out really nice!

Love this kit
The resin kit is great for beginners. One thing to note is that the resin sets super quick so you have to have all materials prepped and ready to go before mixing the powder with the water. I will say that I was using the black color and I could only really get a gray color from it, even when I added several drops of color into the powder. The trinket tray is super cute though!

NOT the same as Jesmonite
The product is nicely packaged and has an instruction card to follow for the molds it comes with. However, the ratios they gave me did NOT work for the tray size it wasn't.nearly enough to fill it and also was not the correct consistency. I used a digital scale and was tedious in my measuring. For me, this is just alright. I'll need to play with the ratios myself to get the right consistency. Also the curing time is much longer than it is for true jesmonite. I thought this would be a good alternative but sadly it does not work for me and I would not purchase again.
