Loke Giant Book of Cyberpunk Battle Mats, Red

Well made and lots of variety of maps. Great for rpgs and even skirmish wargames.

I was looking for maps for a Cyberpunk RED game I'm currently writing for and was coming up short, but someone linked me this book on Reddit and I have to say I'm completely blown away! This book has 60 maps (many are two-part though meaning you would open it to one of the pages and leave both open rather than folding one of the sides over) and in my opinion almost ALL of them are functional and well-illustrated! Sure a couple of them are a little weird or too barren (just my opinion) but again there's 60 maps in this book! I don't doubt they struggled to design enough to fill 60 pages when the bulk of the maps they include are already great!For comparison, I own a D&D map book from a kickstarter and it is pretty underwhelming. I'm a fan of substance over style, and that kickstarter book did not have that many regularly usable maps (many were VERY specific to certain types of games or "scenes", or were too dark, etc). I'd say maybe 10 of its 30 maps are usable for most games. Needless to say I was immediately put off of this kind of product going forward, that is until I saw the maps this book included. SO happy I purchased it; double the maps and again I'd say they're almost all usable in various ways!To be completely objective, I also bought the Sci-Fi one from this company (Loke) and I don't think it's as good as this Cyberpunk one in terms of usable maps. The two Fantasy ones they have were also hit-or-miss on the maps for me too and I already own one book like that. I only wish they spent a little more time revising the maps to make sure they were all equally as good.Anyway, once you add in the fact that these maps can be used for almost any Sci-Fi RPG (and some can be used for Fantasy ones too), that you can draw on these with dry/wet-erase markers, and any other company's static-cling stickers can work on this and it's a CRAZY good purchase for only $37!An easy 5/5 stars for me. I will very much be staying tuned to this company's releases and I can't wait to see what else the come out with.

This collection provides miniature worthy grid marked maps for use with your Sci-Fi RPG's. With a white board marker you can write on them and wipe off the marks later as the entire collection comes with laminated style maps and the spiral bound spine allows for using a large double page map or single page map depending on what your after.In any case, they will save you bucket loads of time and money printing out maps and you may find with a few simple cut outs you can customise each of the maps to suit your game with ease.Highly recommended product and well done to the company for putting this wonderful idea into fruition, this gamer salutes you.Game on,Sean.

Probably one of the most useful tools you can get. Very handy for pic up and go encounters.

I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this but it's incredible durable and functional. The ringed spine is sturdy. The maps are varied and well-laid out. They're great for random encounter mats!
