As long as there is enough room to fit the oil udder in there. **Q: what oil capacity does this have with cap on?** A: Generally speaking I would say one quart. I connected a clear plastic hose on the end so I could drain directly into a milk carton. I loosen the oil filter first with a cap socket attached to a long extension to break it loose. Then I attach the oil under onto the oil filter and make sure it is flush to the engine block, before you unscrew the filter. By looking at the hose you will know when the oil is done draining.
