I bought the m80 mixamp for my Astro a40 headset. The one I got sent wasn’t communicating with my controller so I bought another and same issue. I contacted the seller and they were more then helpful in solving my issue! Definitely recommend buying from here!

Bueno aunque no es compatible con astro a40 edición 2011
Lo compré pensando que podría utilizarlo con mis astro a40 de 2011 y me llevé un chasco. No son compatibles porque los conectores son diferentes y aunque utilicé un adaptador el micro no se escuchaba. Por lo demás, ya que pude escuchar el sonido, se oye muy bien y es más versátil que el adaptador de Microsoft.

Defective
Absolute garbage. I’m furious. I ordered this because the mic stopped working on my last M80 due to wire issues. I paid $80 and waited two weeks for this so called “new” one to arrive and the mic doesn’t even work. I know it’s not my headset because if I mess with my wire on my old one it will still work. This is unacceptable. I recommend looking elsewhere or upgrading your headset because this seller is unreliable.
