Blends my make up well. Washes well.
I am familiar with Honest products. Their mascara is my favorite. Any time I can try one of their products, I will. They are normally made well. Thoughtfully designed. Work well. This is the blending sponge made by Honest Beauty. It comes in a little resealable bag. One of the first things I notice is how it feels when I take it out of the bag. I have tried other blending sponges. They are light and soft. This one by Honest Beauty has a slight weight to it as compared to others. It is still very light as a light as a feather. To hold it, it isn't as squishy as others I have tried. It is firmer but still a sponge. To try it:I applied foundation with it. It worked well blending it onto my face. It felt soft and soothing on my skin. Aftwards, I rinsed well. I used make up brush wash to make sure it was clean. Dried well and worked the same with the next application.Durability: After a week of using and washing a couple times, it works as well as the first day. I replace my sponges around 3 to 4 months. I can see this one lasting as long as that if not more.Honest products are more expensive than the local retail store brands of make up. I expect to pay more for it. For myself, I feel that when I purchase an Honest product that I am receiving a good quality product which is how I would describe this. It states the product is natural though doesn't state what it is made of. This product is cruelty free.

It's ok, didn't like using it wet
The sponge feels nice when dry, firm shape. I first washed to get off anything that might have come in contact during manufacturing. It produce some mild suds as if some reside was on it.After washing and wringing out the excess water, of course the sponge becomes bigger like with most of them holding moisture. However, the texture of the sponge felt really different and the shape was a bit awkward. Then, I used it to apply a frost body shimmer powder. It really didn’t hold the frost powder well at all. Maybe this one is best used dry?Overall, it’s a decent sponge when used dry and creamy or liquid make-up but didn’t like the feel or usability when it was wet. I really wanted to love this sponge since I use some of the Honest Beauty products but marginally l only like it.

Nice but Overpriced
Honest Beauty Beauty Sponge | Makeup Blending SpongeI have really put this sponge to the test. I have been using it daily, washing it, and reusing it. This sponge is really firm and it doubles in size after putting it in water. It does take a few times to get it to fully expand. It does a nice job at liquid foundation application but I think this is a bit overpriced. I have bought generic sponges that work just as well.Just note that you need to rinse these and squeeze out the water several times before use. Yes, they foam up a bit at first but that goes away with rinsing them. I have not had any issues with these sponges and as I said, I really put this through the paces and it still looks great. It pretty much doubles in size and stays super soft and pliable after a good water bath.

Works well for blending edges of contouring together.
I like this little blender sponge. It’s helped me a lot with contouring in different colors of foundation and then blending the edges together and to stop me from touching my face so much with dirty fingers when applying makeup. It also helps to stop me from trying to smear the makeup with fingers (and dab using this instead). The black color helps me also to see when it’s getting a little dirty and needs cleaning, as the foundation and power show on it.It would make a lovely little practical gift item for anyone who loves makeup and beauty products for a stocking stuffer or Easter basket (teens, etc).I’d consider rebuying it.

Dense but gets the job done
The makeup blender came in a resealable bag. This is nice for storing the blender when it isn’t in use.I have tried many makeup blending sponges anywhere from $1-$20 in price. This blender’s price falls around the middle when I reviewed it. The thing that stuck out about this blender compared to others is that it is very dense. I don’t have any issue with it, but I felt it was a bit harder to clean liquid foundation out of.I also like the feeling of my other sponges better for applying liquid foundation. My favorite use for this blender is to blend powder under my eyes over my concealer. The pointed end helps get under my eyes. This is also cruelty free.
