Real bone- the rest is up to you
This was what it claimed to be, the material is solid real bone nut. It came without any chips or blemishes. It also came very thick and required quite a bit of sanding to bring down to size. It fit an acoustic dreadnought neck pretty perfectly, with a tiny bit of overhang. I suspect it would also fit a classical but would be too wide for some or most electrics. As with all bone nuts- it's really up to your skill level to grind this down to what you need. If it's your first time, do some reading and practice to avoid any unfortunate chipping in the string grooves. Good value, Good luck!

Very nice craftsmanship
The nut fit perfectly, but the bridge piece was too small. Though this may have been my fault as I may have mismeasured. I must say that the bone used to make this is fine grained and very dense, perfect for these items.

I use these on all my acoustic guitars.
I have a collection of acoustic guitars that range in sound from full deep bass kinda sound,to middle typical commercial sound to a shallow body kinda sound. I change my first bridge and nut set on a estaban model guitar this thing was kinda beat up and i got it at a pawn shop because i ran into an old buddy of mine and we used to play together. So i was in town until morning he said he had his guitar but i didnt have mine. I drove to the local pawn shop and for 45 dollars got the best one they had along with whatever off brand strings they had available. Took it to my buddy's and strung it up and just ask i was finishing tuning it a chunk of bridge busted of at the first and second string. Made its sound unpleasant but we lived with it and had a great time. When i got home i ordered this set off amazon and this guitar sounded like it was brand new out of the box. Of course i put my usual brand of strings on it at the same time but i wondered how they would sound on my others in my collection. Ive used them on the estaban, a Peavey acoustic/electric, sounds phenomenal even over the amp. Also a Yamaha FG800 and a brand new Fender cc 60s concert they all sound amazingly better. The only one i have not replaced them on is my Martin D15 M Streetmaster my pride and joy. But those other ones sound quality is right up there with that martin. Easy install is just a little careful sanding on a piece of sand paper. Take your time and dont over think it. You won't regret it.
