Perfect fit my my American Standard whirlpool. Better than the original as it's made from 1 sold piece. Came fast and easy to install.

The slip part fit. The threaded part was too small. I probably needed a 2" threaded. I went by the markings on the elbow that was on my old one which was 1 1/2". I had to use the threaded part from old union which was no big deal since all i really needed was the slip coupling

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN! Lightly snug these fittings up, fill with water, run pump and check for leaks. If there is any leaking, just snug up the fitting a tad more. (By hand only!). I have learned the hard way (with multiple brands) not to over tighten or they will crack and leak, even days later. The pipe will have to be cut in order to put on a new one.

Simple to install and is a great value.

Correct size as ordered, but no oring seal was included (which is shown in the picture), making the union useless.

This fitting was for inside of 1 1/2 inch and I actually was replacing and outside fitting. I reviewed product page and this was not covered. I was still able to use in the internal fitting however it is not well fitted.
