LOVE these traps!
Within minutes we trapped 4 flies. BIG ones. They work so fast and are easy to apply. I just bought 3 more packs because our office is a haven for the flies with the weather changing. I cannot believe how quick and easy they worked. Highly recommend!*one downside is that you can still hear them buzzing after they're stuck :(

These really work to catch small annoying bugs
I was not sure if these would work, but I decided to give them a try. And I'm glad of doing so. Because during the warmest months we get all types of small bugs, I don't even know their names, but I'm sure they aren't mosquito s. Anyway, regardless of their size, their bite is painful, so I'm glad to catch as many as possible. And these strips traps are good for it.And these can be placed not only on windows, I put a couple under my desk where the unknown bugs bite me the most, and in a couple of days I don't need to wear bug repellent when I seat to write late at night. The bugs are trapped. I also place a trap by the kitchen window, and it had caught a few of the tiny bugs. So, I'm ordering more of these. I would have like if these were a little larger and for other places than windows. And cleaning the glue residue can be done with acetone, or glass cleaner on windows. On other surfaces like my desk, I used oil based wood cleanser.

Affordable, small fly traps can help if you need it.
Terro's promo for these traps say "no more chasing flies with a fly swatter in hand - let Terro do the work for you!"Okay, Terro, I'll put the fly trap on the window, but what if the fly lands on a glass, or on the food I'm eating, or on the sink? Should I wait for three days for the fly to find its way to the small rectangle on the window that will kill it?Well, if you're willing to do that, these glue strips will probably do a decent job. I stuck one on a window above where the most flying critters seem to hang out (near a trash can), and had nothing to show for it after a day. But I went out of town for 2 weeks and when I came back there were 6 or 7 gnats and two flies on it. So it DOES work.Once you've applied and removed one or two of these, the "installation" and clean-up afterwards are no big deal. The ideal spot would be on a window that's obscured by a curtain or blinds, because although these are "clear", they're definitely noticeable, and once they start gathering bugs on them, they are unsightly as heck. ... so...Why does Terro promote that they "last for months"? Unless you're mounting them in some bug-bothered work-shed area, where only you and your "who cares?" attitude will come into contact with them, you're going to want to replace them more frequently than "months". Heh heh. Or, if they are really well obscured.
