Most comfortable pain free cane ever!!!!! A true game changer!!!!
I have been forced to walk with a cane for 2 1/2 years now due to blood clots in my left leg. I have tried so many canes and the one that I had been using had a thick foam handle with an additional tip that had silicone in it (to try to minimize the shock of the cane on your wrist and shoulder. Cost me $50 just for this tip!!!) While it was better then nothing, it still caused incredible pain in my hand which is crippled with arthritis , wrist and shoulder which was almost as much pain as my leg! Then I got this cane! This cane is a game changer! It gives with you every step you take and the grip on the top, while not soft and squishy, fits your palm and fingers with amazing accuracy, like it was molded to your hand perfectly! I am now able to walk without pain!!!! The only down thing I can think of is that it doesn't have a strap to put around your wrist...which is not a deal breaker, just would have made it perfect!

Not the comfort and damage reducing I expected from this.
After reading the reviews I was expecting a much more comfortable cane. First, the handgrip is solid plastic with no buffer, so although the molding to fit the hand isn’t bad, it’s still your hand coming into contact with hard plastic. Second, the spring in this isn’t very effective - I can feel a little bit of protection but nothing like I wanted, as concrete is wrecking my entire right side and the spring needs provide a much better buffer. Third, the tip on this is tiny, so although it’s nicely rounded to take connection from all angles, it seems to provide a less firm connection to the ground.I like the lightweight feature of this, though it isn’t as important to me as having good protection from the damage of transferring torque from the sidewalk to my hand, arm, neck, head. I am trying some (expensive but seemingly well engineered) add-on cane ends branded “FlexTIP” which provide a MUCH softer ride than this cane, and fit onto any standard 3/4” cane tip. I’m probably returning this “Withgear” unit and will seek out a good cane with an ergonomic handle that I can add a FlexTIP onto if necessary.BTW I’ve actually had (expensive) Allopathic doctors trying to prescribe cortisone shots for the pain caused by use of canes, so watch out for yourself and be aware of relatively cheap adjustments you can make yourself to your mobility tools that seem to evade the mind of licensed doctors. I guess when they only can sell you a hammer, everything becomes a nail. Perhaps Chiropractors and others would have better common sense, but ultimately it’s your body and you may have to override the bad suggestions of anyone who doesn’t appear to have the best answers. Even me.

Will this cane suit your needs? Yes!
In my mid-seventies, I'm apparently absent-minded enough to leave canes out there whereever I go. Having recently rendered myself totally caneless, I decided to finally make the switch to orthopedic-grip canes, and ordered four different ones at one time. This is my favorite by far, for a variety of reasons:(1) It's the lightest and slimmest, with the smallest footprint, all of which gives me the quickest and most accurate tip placement on the ground.(2) Since it adjusts and tightens like a quality alpine walking stick, instead of by using internal push buttons, I'm not limited to one inch length increments -- it's infinitely adjustable!(3) The right-hand grip, while it snuggles into my palm like the other three I purchased, is just slightly more tilted down (i.e., away from my body) than they are. This means that I can still lean into it enough to take a load off my left ankle without putting a right-angle stress on my wrist joint, as the others do.(4) The built-in spring shock absorber -- what a brilliant idea! Although the shaft of this cane was the stiffest of the four I bought, using it on hard concrete feels about like the others do when walking over a nice firm but springy lawn.Very happy with this product -- the best cane I've ever owned! -- and I recommend it highly. The only way the company could improve the buyer experience would be to have their little 10-page user manual rewritten by a native-born speaker of English (and, presumably, other languages of whereever they ship to). The current in-house version oscillates wildly between amusing and confusing; the product, and their customers, deserve better.

Lightweight, Sturdy, Sleek and Comfortable
It definitely is Lightweight, Sturdy, Sleek and Comfortable. This makes other canes that I have been using for years feel bulky and obsolete. It is almost like not even using a cane because it is so lightweight and yet sturdy. I am 5'11" and weigh 203 lbs. and am completely confident with this cane. Another great feature is the ability to adjust the height to my specific height with just a twist of the shaft. I glued a small magnet onto the end of the handle and use it to pickup car keys and other metal objects. I have only been using it for a week but I am very satisfied with it. 5 stars all the way.

Lightweight, sturdy
Very satisfied. The aluminum shaft makes it the lightest cane I have used, yet it is very sturdy and the spring does reduce shock. The curved handle is very comfortable. My only disappointment is the lack of a wrist strap, which I need to prevent dropping of the cane. The wrist strap is particularly important when checking out at a terminal, I need the cane in my right hand for stability and need the strap so I can use my hand without putting the cane down. I solved the problem by attaching a lanyard myself.

This is for RIGHT Hand only
I purchased this because I recently injured my knee .. I wanted a spare cane of my own as I stole one that was hanging around my mom's home. The description reads it but DON'T miss this .. The handle on this is for a right-hand fit. e.g. A limp in your right leg. I assume they make a left-handed one, but just beware. The build seems ok.. It is not "collapsable" as it twists to lock.. Being that the material is smooth, it would be difficult to always collapse and readjust the height. It seems to lock into place, however, and I leaned on it really hard to test, it did not buckle and I am currently over 275lbsFor pricing, I am thinking it might be a little expensive as the cane will work only on one side of the body and not be easily adjustable for anyone in the household.

Ugly - flimsy. Arrived in a box 3 times the length of the stick!
Ugly design, very thin, doesn’t feel secure. Arrived packed in a huge long box, which was broken anyway due to it being three quarters empty.Uncomfortable grip handle. Is this a joke or what?
