I can't imagine what a more expensive tool set would get you that this one doesn't. Seem like high quality tools and work very well.

Good quality tools. This is perfect for my 3, 5, and 20 gallon long aquariums. The scissors are sharp and work well to cut tough stems. The tweezers are long and grasp even tiny objects that I need to pick up off the aquarium floor, or grip plants well when planting into the substrate.

No complaints here . . . items work as they should and are of decent quality, especially for the money. I usually go for something between the cheapest and the best . . . but, for aquascaping tools, there doesn't seem to be anything in the middle . . . just super low-cost, like these, and really pricey versions. These seem like they will work out just fine.

The scissors are not sharp. They are very fat so I don't think i can sharpen them either. At least the tweets work as expected.

The media could not be loaded. Nice and long so your hands don’t get wet. The pinchers have excellent grip so you can move things around. The scissors are nice and sharp so happy! Highly recommend.

This is a very nice set of tools, and you can't beat the price! Before ordering, I looked at both of the large pet store chains and the cost of one plastic tool was as much or more than this entire set! And this set is stainless steel - will last a lifetime!

Received the items on time. I've now used all of the tools over the last few weeks. They do a nice job! I'm sure ther are better ones available, but I have found them more than adequate for my tank maintenence. The scissors cut effortlessly. Both tweezers work well, but take a little getting used to for "feel", depending what you are grabbing. The scraper I'm sure would work for heavier algae than I have on the glass. I used it for moving substrate on the tank bottom when necessary. No complaints! What I need next is a long hemostat :)
