Definitely for teens
I got this for a granddaughter and did not see the age recommendation of 14 and up. It was definitely too complex for younger child, but we did work together to get it done. You will need a couple tubes of super glue for this. There is a lot of cutting out and folding of very small things as well. I like that they were a couple of extras in case you mess up with the tiny cuts. We couldn’t get the books to stay in the bookcase on their own, so we ended up going almost everything in place. The dust cover was hard to put together. I could not get it to stay together with superglue so I ended up using hot glue, but it looks messy.Despite the amount of work it took, my granddaughter was very happy with the outcome and even made an extra little pillow. She wants to get more rooms on her future birthdays so it was a win

Great for beginners
This kit is so cute! The quality in comparison to some other brands is really nice, and the instructions are very easy to follow. I also like that there isn't an excessive amount of paper components like some other mini kits. I did the pet room set as well and im excited to get more to build a full house!

Not for beginners, a little stressful, tiny pieces
I saw this product and thought that is so adorable. Not realizing what I was getting myself into I quickly purchased it. There is no super glue or batteries. The instructions are easy to read but that isn’t the problem. The pieces are very tiny. So big hands and lack of experience make this project a complex one. The hardest pieces to build or create are the tent sticks(gluing the wraps around), attaching the bridge to condo boxes, the rope on the scratch posts, and the kitty bassinet top. The fabrics are mostly flimsy and can make cutting with the included scissors a challenge. You have to hand cut and glue everything. Half way through I gladly accepted it wasn’t going to look exactly like the picture. It says on the advertisement stress relieving but honestly it’s not. If you have OCD or anxiety I do not recommend. Not for kids or people lacking patience. I’m also concerned about putting figures or toys on it. After I finished some pieces of the kit remained tacky even after I wiped away the excess super glue. Cute set but honestly after building this set I know I won’t be buying anymore.

Roof?
This is going to be cute! I did not realize it was a whole doll house. I see everything but the roof on Amazon. Where do we purchase the roof or what is it under?

Great mini kits!
I love these kits. I have all 9 now. They don’t take long to complete and are fun to customize. There are some gaps when gluing all 9 together into a house but overall it looks great. I was happy to find them on Amazon.

Way too complicated
This set is WAY too complicated to put together. It must be meant for adults because there is no way my 6 year old could put this together themselves (or an older kids for that matter!). Plus it didn’t come with glue for putting everything together and that is pretty essential. I don’t just have wood glue lying around. Would not buy again.

My daughter loved it!
We did it together as my daughter is only 8 years old. But she loved making this room! Instructions are easy to read and follow. It doesn't come with a glue though and we had a little trouble finding a super glue that was easy to use. Ideally I would love a non toxic glue to be included. It's definitely tinier than what I thought but we were able to put it together.

Very cute!
I do these a lot and my 8 year old daughter has begged to do one with me. So I looked for one that seemed relatively straightforward and simple. We took a few hours over two days because we both have terrible attention spans. But we were both really happy with the outcome! Now where do we get those roof pieces so we can attach the others one we will inevitably be doing? 😂
