The book was very well packaged and protected inside a styrofoam lined box, which was placed in a bubble envelope, then well wrapped and sealed in plastic, and finally placed in the mailer envelope. The book is of very good quality and beautiful craftsmanship. It appears to be great value for the money; time will tell, but I think it will hold up wonderfully if taken care of properly. I plan to order more books as gifts for several family and friends in the future, as well as a couple more so that I can gift the family recipes to all three of my kids.
