These are the plates you’re looking for!
Look, these are crappy plates, but let’s be real: if you’re buying paper plates in bulk, you’re probably trying to save money, like me.These are not acceptable for your wedding reception. Do not serve fancy steak dinners to house guests on these plates.Do not buy these plates if you can’t figure out how to use more than one of them stacked together to achieve a desired stiffness and strength relative to the weight and sogginess of your food. I see other reviewers complaining about how flimsy they are and how vulnerable they are to intrusion by wet food. These are valid points, but any idiot can make a valid point while neglecting the finer bits of logic sailing right over their heads. That’s ok, you and I can save money with these, it’ll be our secret! Here’s a bit of logic: if your food is especially heavy or likely to weaken the plate due to sogginess, use another plate. Use 3 plates! Or 4! They’re cheap and meant to be doubled up as necessary. That is the whole point of these plates. Inexpensive and versatile.I’m not gonna feed my cats a can of wet food using an expensive Chinet brand plate. Those plates are nice and stiff, but unnecessary most of the time, and too expensive. Every day I feed my cats a can of wet food on a single one of these flimsy, crappy plates, and they have never complained once!Using paper plates several times daily adds up if you buy regular paper plates or if you don’t buy in bulk. Sure you could safely serve a whole Porterhouse steak with 3 soggy wet sides and a couple dinner rolls on a Chinet plate, and maybe you should buy those stiffer plates if that’s all you plan to do with them: eat meals that require solid plates. But as long as you’re not trying to eat literal frickin’ soup with these plates, you’re probably fine to just use as many stacked together as necessary for your particular meal. That’s what I do. The hotter, heavier, or wetter the meal, the more plates I use stacked together. 4 Plates gives you about as much plate stiffness as you could ever want, but I’d say 5 or 6 would be roughly Chinet equivalent. However I only use a single plate for most meals. They are a bit of a hassle to peel apart, but it’s a small price compared to how much money you will save buying this style of plate in bulk. Being able to titrate your plate stiffness more precisely saves you money. Trust me!

Functional and a good value
These 9" plates are your regular picnic type plates, growing up we always used holders for these type of plates if you don't they will be very flimsy. Using the holders they work pretty good and reduce the amount of dishes we wash as a family. The value is good about the same as I bought them at the store, I used to buy the 150 pack for about 3-4 dollars so the price is about the same, it would have been great if these were at the $20 for 1200 price but still not a bad price at $30. I decided to buy them in bulk because the availability and price in the stores right now is spotty and they were completely out last week. Finally these are un-coated the have a dry paper look, I usually buy the coated ones simply because that's the way they come at the store I buy them from, but I see no big difference may be the coated ones are a little more sturdy but not by much and might hold up better to liquids but try not to use these plates for soupy foods, so buy these they are good but I would highly recommend a holder either in plastic or better yet Bamboo.
