La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer

This is NOT fragrance free. It smells like sunblock and off bug repellent. It is awful. I put a little on the tops of my hands and it immediately started to burn and is turning red. This is not for sensitive skin! I have the non spf version and it is great. So moisturizing so i thought this would be nice for the days but oh no! it is really bad. I do not recommend the SPF version to anyone with sensitive skin. Do not listen to the hype.

So I bought the one without the UV spf and absolutely loved it! It was a nice consistency, mild clean scent, and made my skin feel so hydrated! But it’s summer where I am and I thought maybe I should get the spf. I absolutely hate it! It has a very thin consistency (which I think aided in it seeping into my eyes) , it smells like straight up sun block, it’s greasy, and it made my eyes burn. More importantly, after doing some research I found out that they are not cruelty free and the thought of them exposing an animal to that made my blood boil! Especially the burning eyes!

I have dry, mature, sensitive skin and live in the desert. I decided to wear this moisturizer around the house today just to make sure I didn't have a reaction. It was the only product I had on my cleaned face. Out of the bottle the product had a serum like texture, a sort of stickiness. It didn't leave any discernible white cast to my skin and had no smell. As I went through the day my face stayed sticky to the point I could not have worn makeup over it. By five p.m. the product had migrated down my face and into my eyes. They burned and watered so badly I had to wash my face. I will not even be able to wear this on my body. I'm surprised, I thought this was a quality brand. I guess my product search will continue.

This is not a good product for me but it might be for someone else. Firstly, it burns my eyes for no reason and made it watery for several hours unless I wash my face to remove the sunscreen. Secondly, I don't like the smell. Thirdly, when I sweat, it burns my skin leaving me with severe irritation, itching and dark flaky skin. I recently discovered that I am allergic to niacinamide and 99% of cosmetic brand these days have made it their goal to include niacinamide in every single product without adequate research.

I got this on May and truly wanted to like it. Cons: 1.When I first got it my eyes started burning and getting watery in just minutes. I was not sweating. I then stopped putting it around my eyes, but they still burnt. Stopped putting it on my eyes and forehead and still burnt. Waited 2 months to see if my eyes would adjust but they never did. Also didn’t see a point in not covering my forehead and around my eyes anymore. 2.Every time I got more than normal sun exposure I would notice I would break out with several pimples. This happened several times and I refused to believe it was this but after the 5th time in 3 months I accepted that it was. Pros: 1.When I applied it under my makeup it didn’t get me oily. After 3 months I gave up and unfortunately will not use this anymore. La rosche posay products are great but this one isn’t. The face wash cleanser thankfully would remove the pimples that I got from the moisturizer in like 2 to 3 days.

When I received my first tube I was thrilled. This product was everything I always hoped for in a facial cream. It was rich, thick, yet did not leave any greasy residue on my skin and my make up applied smoothly on top of it. I re-ordered the product and was horrified. This is NOT the same product I had before. It is thin, almost watery and as others said, made my eyes tear like crazy. Won't buy at Amazon anymore. I assume, like some others do, that this is a seller problem - maybe not the original formula?

I have used other products (triple moisturizer) by La Roche and been happy. Unfortunately, this daily cream with SPF is not great. I have used this product 3 times and the third time my face turned bright red and I started to get a rash. I spent the rest of the day with hives all over my face and it was beat red. Came to return and found out I am unable to return for a refund. My Advice - if you want to try this lotion buy from somewhere you can return. It is not comparable to their other lotions

It caused rashes, swelling of my face and my eyelids, just within 2days of use. This was and will be the last time I purchase this product.

The product is as shown in the picture. This is the 2nd time I have purchased from Amazon as it's not available in Singapore. The product is very good. Besides the sunscreen, it has a rich moisturizing texture without feeling sticky. I don't need to apply another layer of moisturiser. I highly recommend this product.

The best product for sensitive skin ever!

Really good product on dry skin. Will be getting another one when this is finished

I have been using for more than a year now. Very good for oily to combination skin type. I like that it does not have strong fragrant smell.
