That kit was a great start for deciding whether or not I wanted to get into this as upping my shaving game from shaving creams and gels that come from a can. It was good enough to make me decide that this was the path that was worth the added effort. However, I also knew that it wasn't the end all/be all of this... So, I decided to make some improvements by upgrading the individual items from that kit. This soap was one of those things. Pros: Nice and rich lather, which makes my razor glide over my skin and also softens the skin on my face. Also, another nice thing is that unlike those cans of shaving creams and gels... This doesn't gum up and clog up those razors that have enough blades to rival a Swiss army knife. Con: Price vs size. Now, in comparison to the soap that came with my "starter kit"... This is somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3 the size of that soap.
