Installed flawlessly into a Thinkpad T530 and had zero issues. Took out the single 4gb ram under the keyboard then put in the 8gb stick under the keyboard slot and then added the other 8gb to the rear under memory slot on the laptop for 16gb total. Went from 4gb ram to 16gb. Laptop as immensely faster now than with just 4gb of ram, fires right up, multiple high def videos playing and doesn't stutter, takes everything you can throw at it. (Have a ssd installed) Simple plug and play. Ram memory was sealed and exactly like the photos, MADE IN TAIWAN, country makes some great products. Will report back if any issues. Moved the windows experience calculation from 5.9 to 7.5 in calculations on ram memory. Worth the upgrade on a classic unit.

Excellent way to upgrade/refurb/repurpose old computers on the cheap. This is now 3rd set of RAM sticks from this manufacturer and they've been great for the money. Updating to Max RAM capabilities has allowed me to keep 11+ year old computers usable in shop environments. Speed is great. Great install on the older Lenovo units (E540/E550) to reduce lag and keep productive performance and functionality on Win 10 Pro utilizing modern diagnostic SW. Check pin count for compatibility but if it's a laptop that is older than 10yrs, good chance this is going to be drop in.
