This product looks nice and was easy to install, but really is completely inadequate as far as the magnets are concerned. As you can see in the photo, it just about manages to hold them in place, but if you knock one of the larger ones taking another knife off, it slides down and falls on the worktop. Luckily my worktops are wooden! The only reason I didn't send it back was that I couldn't be bothered.

Looks nice, but it ultimately useless. The magnets aren’t strong enough to hold a full size chef’s knife, and everything just slips down. Also, only a portion of the rack is magnetic, so you you only have space for a limited number of knives.Avoid. There’s far better on the market.

Wanted something unobtrustive and smart to get my knife block off the counter. Very easy to fit and perfect level of magnetism - can pop on things like pizza slicers and big spoons too. Great to just grab things from as and when.

Just what I was looking for! Mounts easily to the wall and perfect magnetic strength so no risk of them falling off. Good quality product!

Came securely packaged. Sleek design, nice neutral colour and strong magnet. Bought as a present and the recipient is very happy!

Wasnt strong enough for my needs

I love this magnetic knife holder. I have taken this to replace the old one had in my kitchen. There's a few things to discuss.One thing I like with the wall mounted knife holder is that they take up the smallest space. Just a few centimetres out from the wall. That's it.This particular example looks pretty neat. It's sleek design houses an incredibly powerful magnet.I do have a version of this already. But it's a free standing one which takes up space. I'd much rather have the wall mounted one.The magnet clings to the knives with good strength. Ensuring nothing will fall by the way side. After all that could.be quite dangerous.Installing is as easy as 1,2,3. A couple of screws in the wall and hook it on. Much like you'd attach a 4 way plug socket to a wall.I suspect you could try some glue strips. But it may be too heavy for those.Just to conclude.This is a nice item. It's big enough to hold a good 8-10 various knives.It isn't style over substance. It has a good practical use. It's easy to clean. Which is handy as it's going to see some use.

We already have a magnetic knife rack in our kitchen and it is brilliant - The knives are stored safely yet close to hand, within reach whenever you need them. Unfortunately, our existing knife rack is a metal one and I have noticed that it seems a little tarnished lately - Although I clean it regularly, I think the general moisture in the kitchen air has just taken the gilt off the rack a little. I had been thinking about replacing it in the New Year, and so leapt at the chance to try this wooden knife rack. I am very impressed - The block is really nicely designed so that it is a complete unit of wood This eradicated the worry about the meta magnetic strip tarnishing. There are pre drilled fitting sections on the rear of the block and screws and fitting are provided. I had no difficulty keeping my rather substantial knife on the block, and think it will look so much nicer in our kitchen than the old strip. Stylish and Practical, I am delighted with this!
