We’re passing this set along to our friends’ kids, so I had to try and get it back in the box to ship. Good news! I was successful in getting the oven and cheese grater removed from the base. You just need a small flathead screwdriver to slightly pry the small latching plastic connections, one at a time, while applying pressure to the oven or cheese grater from the top side. Probably easier with 2 people. But with a little patience, I was able to get each one off without breaking anything.
