Every once in a while, one of the swabs will be mostly dry or dry, but on the whole 90% of the time are lightly moist for cleaning. These are fantastic for small cleaning jobs. These are great for cleaning cannabis supplies as well. (The volcano, or the Puffco) The packaging is generally easy to open, twist the wrapper at the notch and it should easily rip and separate the halves of the wrapper.

I don't vape but I got these to use for cleaning around the house, especially in my kitchen. My stove top has a rubber gasket around the edges that is thinner than a Q-Tip and is tricky to clean well. I used a few of these on it and the results were fantastic. Nice that they are sanitary, too, so they disinfect for the kitchen. They are also great on my phone and other tricky areas that are hard to detail clean.

I do like these Hest swabs and though thin and a bit pliable, the stick is reasonably sturdy. The only thing that I have some trouble with is actually opening one up. It’s not as easy to tear the sides apart like they show in the video.

These swabs are real nice for quick detailed clean up. They are pre-moistened with ISO for electronics or adhesive removal. I also use them to smooth out RTV sealant as the ISO prevents the swabs from sticking to the wet RTV. Works great on keyboards as well.
