If you are looking for a test bank of questions then this would not be good. If you are somewhat unfamiliar with building and construction then this would be a good choice. The questions seems pointless when there’s a lot of relevant information. I ended up passing the exam without the aid of the book, but I have many decades of experience. If you are new to general construction or just want to learn more this would be a good resource and reference book

While there is a lot of information packed into this book, it is not organized in a logical way, and clearly not written by someone that knows how to teach. It seems the author created flash cards for studying for the contractor exam, then flung them into the air, and however they landed is the order he put the words in the book.

Well written book in a comprehensive language without using sophisticated or intriguing terms. Individuals who are preparing to enter the test should rely solely on this book. The book can be also used as a reference material for supervisors and businesses. Furthermore, the diagrams are well illustrated and the theoretical terms are well categorized. The book is also taking builders in the organizational system and the legal codes to bolster their critical thinking and to help them improve their performance.

The CA Contractor's Exam book is very cleanly written and laid out. Very familiar layout and style to even computer certification book layouts. All topics are broken down and easy to understand. Kindle version is very easy to navigate and read especially on a tablet device. Tables and images are well displayed as well.The test prep in the back of the book is very easy to understand and work on for those prepping to take the exam. Most are multiple choice or True/False layout as the regular exam. I highly recommend it.
