Really works!
I bought this to use on furniture that my cat has clawed on and was impressed how well it worked. With just a few passes of the shaving head, the bumps and threads were gone, and the fabric looked smooth again. I used it with the power cord, so no batteries needed. Very happy with my purchase.

Takes your fuzzy off sweatshirt material with ease. Love it
Purchased this last year, but never used it until today. Had a pair of favorite sweats that had fuzzys allover. It cleaned every piece of fuz off. Love it. Wish I had used sooner.

Great product and value
A much needed miracle around here! Like other buyers have said, I too have tried many of these shavers; all were disappointing. I often just used disposable razors instead, working on an item while watching a movie. I knew this one would do better because it has what others lack: POWER, as well as a sizable lint collection compartment. And I was right, as I learned immediately! As soon as it arrived I raced thru the instructions and got busy on the cotton tee I was wearing, without removing it. It was finished in a snap so I moved on to the ribbed wool collar of my nylon vest and then the heavy Morino wool socks I was about to put on. The shaver did fabulously on this difficult fabric. I stretched wool over my hand to separate the 'ribs' with my fingers for a cleaner, faster result. I also tried it on a small area of a quite large Navajo blanket and was satisfied that it can handle the task. But I can see that it's going to be a lengthy, slow job and will probably dull the original blades. Anyway, I'm saving it for later, after I've compulsively gone through all my blouses, tees and sweats.๐ It's like when you get a new washer and scour the house for things to launder whether or not they need it yet.... I'm very pleased with this little gem. It's soooo worth the price, even without the lifetime replacement warranty. The instructions say to cut or tuck in any loose threads before using it. I found that advice especially important for wool clothing and bedding with their thicker threads. I would add a recommendation to tie back long hair so the blades can't catch and yank it if your head is bent over whatever you're working on.

Very good. I'd buy it again.
I'll start by saying I've never had a fabric shaver before so there's not much frame of reference here. I have a bunch of t-shirts that almost immediately pilled up from washing so I got this to clean them up. Yes, it does work (and works well!), but it does take patience. You can't just swipe it over the fabric a couple of times and expect everything to be perfect. The device is a little intimidating when you first open the box. It's about the size of a small iron and if you don't want to use the power cord, you will need 4 C batteries. I highly recommend practicing on something you don't mind getting some holes in until you get a feel for how to use it. First, make sure you have the garment on something absolutely flat. I did mine on a desk but I suspect an ironing board (or something with a little firm padding) would work better. Hold the garment flat and methodically move the shaver over the fabric until the area is how you like it, then move on to another one. If you get impatient and go too fast and hit a tall wrinkle, it's entirely possible for the shaver to pull the fabric in, which will result in a small hole. In most cases, I was able to just lightly shave over the hole on my test garment so that it was hardly visible (and remember this was thin soft t-shirt material) so even if it happens, it's not the end of the world. Docking one star because you really have to just use the front edge of the shaver screen if you want to get anything done. Even though the blades spin around the whole thing, the other sides of the screen just aren't as effective for some reason. I think I'd be able to work a bit quicker if I had more contact area between the shaver and fabric.

Fabric Shaver Worthy of 5 Shiny Stars!!
EasyLint Professional Fabric Shaver Fabric Shaver Worthy Of 5 Shiny Stars I love the EasyLint Professional Fabric Shaver! From its large size to the optional plug in/battery option it leaves very little to be desired when it comes to a fabric shaver. Iโve provided before/after pics of a Re useable face mask that normally Iโd just throw out due to the pilling of the fabric. It looks new again! Awesome gadget, canโt wait to do my sofa pillows. PROS: * Lightweight * Easy to use * Easy to clean * Plug In/Battery Option * Handle is comfortable * Works great * Hard shell storage case * Comes with extra blade cartridge * Large in size therefore covers larger areas such as couch, blankets, curtains etc. CONS: * Wish the cord was longer in length

Effective, easy, fast, and fun
I was looking at pill shavers online for my good wool coat, which after 2 years had started pilling (shame on you, J. Crew! Especially for the money you charge...). I had used small battery-operated pill shavers before, but found them to be mediocre and ineffective. I'm glad I spent the extra money and got this one. It comes in a handy carrying/travel case, and can be used plugged into an outlet or with batteries. I used it on my good wool coat first thing, and it was fast and effective, making my coat look like new again! I also used it on a couple of cotton/poly blend sweatshirts. Worked great on those, too. Maybe this is just a sign that I'm old and boring, but...using this thing is hella fun. You can see the results as you're working, so it's very satisfying. And who doesn't want their clothes looking like new again? I have a knit dress from Forever 21 that pilled the first time I wore it from my crossbody purse strap rubbing against the fabric. I know, it's my own fault for buying cheaply-made, shitty clothing, but damn if I'm not excited to get that ten-dollar dress looking like I just bought it again, using my new toy. Two thumbs bigly up. Very good purchase.

Awesome fabric shaver made my couch look like new.
I got this fabric shaver and went after my couch and pillows. I could hardly see the print on the pillows because of the little fabric balls covering it. Wow! This shaver is impressive. I cleared the couch and all 6 pillows in less than an hour. The pillows look brand new, minus the stains I can now see. The couch fabric looks new again too. I should have bought this sooner. I hated the feeling of the fabric balls against my skin. My couch and pillows are soft again. The unit is larger than I expected but very light. It feels more solid and durable than ones I have bought in the past. It is powerful and I love the included plug. My last one used batteries and wasn't as powerful. It even comes with a nice carrying case. The only issue isn't a big deal. I had to use an extension cord to reach all areas of my couch as the cord isn't very long. The cord is plenty long enough for working on clothing. I can't wait to tackle the fabric balls on my clothing. I cannot speak to the durability, as I only got it today but it worked like a champ. In my opinion, it was worth the higher cost.

works like magic to get rid of pilling
This was a surprise that it makes sweaters look like new. Have to go over it a few times, but it works well. It is a bit hard to undo the plastic cover that holds the fuzz for cleaning. Comes in a really nice zip bag for storage and an extra blade. Light weight and easy to use. Good quality. Would recommend this product.
