Good towel set. Good variety of sizes. Two wash cloths, two hand towels and two big towels. I ordered this set in two different colors. Pink and blue. The material is thinner than I expected. I like a thicker towel. But this towel is good for the price.

So, my apologies to all those homemakers out there that have ever had to purchase towels. Never in my life have I dedicated so much research to so minor of a thing as the towels that sit in a bathroom. But having said that, I'm glad I purchased these. Let's start with the fact that I am replacing decades old towels. A mix of US made, Chinese made and I think one other country. They run the gammot of thin to plush towels. Based on that, my inclination was to find something that matched them in look, feel and durability. Why I chose Lane. The primary reason I chose Lane was, they had my color I wanted, and their poor reviews were a very small percentage of their reviews and those low reviews weren't the same horror stories from other vendors. These towels are slightly more plush than they are thin. I would, say average. They are, soft not scratch. While after a, wash and two rounds in the, dryer they did produce copious amounts of lint, two towels I have owned and only washed the once produced almost as much per towel. So, the "shedding" it on par with better towels. While I did not inspect the towels thoroughly before washing, I did not notice any glaring threads before, washing. After washing there, was one particular thread pull, but overall the fit and finish of these towels is, excellent. The piping, the, stitching, it's all really, really good. The majority of these towels will never see use. This, set was overkill. But so far, the one towel I have at hand to use is working well. There is no shedding while drying, they dry my hands, and look good doing it. These towels represent a passing of the guard for me. They are the first towels I have ever purchased for myself. Everything else I ever owned was given to me by my parents or siblings. As I said in the beginning, kudos to anyone who has had to go through the process of trying to find towels. There isn't just finding the right color, there are a bevy of various things that influence a good or bad purchase. Not every towel will be perfect, and not every experience with one manufacturer will be good, but based on my experience so far, these Lane towels are an excellent brand worthy of your purchase. Not only do I feel that way, but I recently purchased linens based on my experience with these towels.

Nice looking towels with very nice soft feel. Great color and pattern

The towel set is incredible. It doesn't look like it is much when you first take it out of the package( looks and feels thin). I washed the whole set and they turned out thick and really nice. The bath towels are very large. The hand towels and wash cloths are also large and thick. The color is exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be buying more of the sets and you really can't beat the price or the quality for this towel set. They dry fast and are very soft.

First, let me say if you are looking for towels that look like picture advertised, you will be disappointed. They are very thin and the color was nothing like the picture. That being said, they are nice towels and seem to be of good quality, just not what I was expecting. I can not speak to absorbency as we have not yet used them.

I absolutely love these towels!!! It's hard to tell from a picture what they will feel like or how thin they are, but these towels did not disappoint! I was pleasantly surprised when I received them. The beautiful color, a peacock blue, was exactly the color I wanted for my bathroom to match the shower curtain and decor. They are absorbent and a perfect thickness, not too thin. I was surprised how big they are, enough to completely cover you. They washed well, minimal shrinkage and barely any shedding. I am really happy with my purchase and will order more!

Very nice towels for the price. I wanted a teal or aqua color, and pleasant fabric. These fit the bill. They also feel good and are absorbent.

Updating my review and increasing my rating. The seller has since contacted me and given me a full refund. I haven't had any problems with the other towels, and I've been washing and using them a lot. So, it seems like it was just one bad towel. I really do love these towels apart from the one defective piece, and their customer service is excellent. ............ I had loved these towels after washing and using them once. Was planning on ordering more. Soft cotton, not stiff. Then, after the second washing, I pulled one of the towels out of the dryer and found the side seam with a long rip. See my photo.

Very nice towels, and all are a good size. I like the pink colour of the real product more than what I had seen in the photo. We've been using these about 3 months with lots of washing and so far they don't look like they're wearing out at all. I hope they last me several years.

These are really the nicest towels I've ever had. They're soft, really nice to look at and absorbent as all get out. Will buy again in different colours!

Literally not even close to the colour description. Sage green is what I had purchased, it was the most god awful seafoam green colour.

We are very happy with the towels. They hold their shape after being washed and dried and are still fluffy.
