Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer for Indoor & Perimeter2 Ready-to-Use

This stuff seriously works! I moved in about three months ago and sprayed around my outside door the first day. Haven’t even had to reapply and I still find bugs that try to climb up but end up dying on their own. It also kills on contact, which is awesome because I hate having to squish them myself. Bonus points for being pet and kid safe once it’s dry, my roommate’s got two dogs, so that’s a must.

The answer for quickly getting rid of household critters. Instant and long lasting results.

This works awesomely. Everytime I spray this around my home on what starts to look like potential invasions, it gets rid of the problem so quickly, I dont even have the time to worry about it.

I had seen ants migrate all the way to my coffee table to eat little bits of food and crumbs from around there. We are kinda messy and don't clean up every day so there was plenty for them to eat. When I was out on the deck I noticed the ants coming from the deck and going to the front door. In the front door there was a piece of candy they were swarming on that must have convinced them to check out the rest of the house. I sprayed them on the candy and they all stopped moving instantly. Then I went outside and sprayed the perimeter of the deck and wherever I saw the ant lines. I finished up by giving a very thick coating around the base of the front door where I knew they came in. Haven't seen an ant line since that day! They even disappeared from my coffee table without any spraying inside. Haven't seen any ants return and not seen any inside. My only issue is that when I was spraying so much a bit got on my hand that I was using for the trigger. The liquid on my hand did not cause any irritation and washed off easily. I'd suggest wearing gloves just in case.

I have been using this for years. Every Spring the ants and other yucky insects start making their way into the house. Since I discovered Ortho Home Defense my irritation levels have been way lower. You simply give a good spray to the baseboards around your location, especially the ones on external walls, as well as any holes or entry points where you know insects come in, then let it dry. Don't wipe the floor there for a couple of days so it can sink in. In my experience, the insect activity immediately stops. I generally only spray once a season, but I may do spot touch-ups here and there. The product has low to no odor so it's not a nuisance. This is something you definitely want in your insect-fighting arsenal.

I have stopped using this in my home. The population of German roaches in my NYC apartment developed a tolerance. Maybe this works on other insects, but not on my roaches anymore. When I first used this ~2 years ago I would see them struggle for a few minutes and then die. Now they stutter for a moment while I'm soaking them and then happily walk off and flip me the bird. Perimeter spraying didn't appear to slow them down either. I switched to a very effective bait and now my home is nearly roach free. Perhaps this works well with other insects or roach populations but if you're in uptown NYC I would be very wary. I think they have evolved out of this particular insecticide.

BEST EVER! Love this product! I squirt under the mop boards in my kitchen and ants never crawl up to my counters ever! I spray my door sills and window sills no spiders or ants in my house! No odor noticed has eliminated bugs in a hundred year old house with lot of places where critters can enter!
