Furoshiki Small-size Traveling-cat Japanese New-year Cat 01

I love this design and the adorable little traveling cat. It is well made and had vivid coloration. I plan to display it on the wall. It would also make a thoughtful gift to someone with a kitty that looked like the traveling cat.I have not washed it yet so cannot attest to the durability of the cloth. The item arrived folded, but creases fall out easily after smoothing or hanging.It was a good value for the cost and would purchase again.

Nice thing good for anything - wrapping, keeping it in your pocket, or purse, in your car so things are not clanking on the plastic.It is not too big, so you won't wrap much in it.

A fashion sewer, I was interested in cutting this up as front and back yokes on a shirt. It has worked out fine. The fabric is of decent weight, akin to oxford cloth, with fine irregular ribbing, a dobby cloth. Edges are finely rolled and hemmed. Good quality printing, crisp, hard clean colors. Launders well, little to no shrinkage, and takes a light iron. Some soft gold metallic highlights, which in my experience with metallic prints, will hold up okay in standard laundering.A year later, shirt is doing okay, through many wash cycles.
