False advertising
The product name specified that the products contained red switches, which don't give a tactile bump when pressed, instead, I received blue switches, which is not what I wanted. Please correct the name of the product, this contains blue switches, not red.

Product not the same in pictures: No Mac key labels and not all key labels lit
If you have a Mac don't get this keyboard, as there are no Mac specific key labels. Also not all of the key labels light up and some are just printed on even though the pictures show all key labels/icons are lit up. See attached photo. If you're a Windows user, there are no media key functions for Windows (no volume control, no play/pause, skip forward, skip back), just the F1-F12 functions. EDIT: To clarify, there are media keys for Macs (although there are no labels for them), but no media keys for Windows users. Why would you advertise that the keyboard is Mac but don't have the key labels for a Mac?The pictures are very misleading and I'm returning this keyboard.

Travel/office 5-device Bluetooth mechanical kb w/o PC media keys, not for low light or lap usage.
See end of this review for full device documentation.Answers to a lot of the questions / comments:1) yes it's a plastic case with "RK Blue" switches, not any well known brand2) yes it's a Windows keycap set but there's a MacOS layout option and you can add MacOS keycaps.3) yes access to media keys is awkward on the PC layout, no it's not impossible. See below.4) yes there's no RK-provided software for this model, at all. Just a PDF explaining the features5) yes it's often laggy, definitely not for gaming despite the "gaming" features.6) yes it's only RGB on the sides, as advertised. The keys are individually lit monochrome.7) yes, there's no way to turn off the charging light so if you use it in wired mode you have a red light on the spacebar when it charges. Not ideal for a media PC in the dark, but you can unplug it.8) yes, it has dedicated arrow keys unlike the RK619) no, claims that it doesn't work in wired mode are incorrect. There's a switch on the bottom for that.My own observations / criticicisms:1) The key actuation point is extremely high on these switches which may lead to some unintentional keypresses, or out of order keypresses. There's no tactile bump whatsoever.2) When this keyboard is on your lap the range is severely restricted, On a table, this easily works from 40 feet away. On my lap? 7 feet is problematic.3) if you are typing any key combination with WIN or ALT that requires use of FN then you have to be super careful of the exact timing of your keypresses. ie if you type FN 4 (to get F4) and then press ALT, then ALT will be mapped as your new WIN key! If you press FN 3 WIN then you'll toggle the WIN key lock, which disables it for gaming. So you have to be very careful as these mess up the keyboard behaviour and can be very confusing.RK 71 Documentation:Switch on the back: off = USB Data; when switching on there's an animation and no bluetooth device is paired - you must select one with FN + [QWERT]Backlight turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity regardless of switch position.Keyboard will charge regardless of switch position; red light indicates chargingRK 71 keyboard layout: ( * = long press )FN + Ctrl_L toggle FN/Media layerFN + Q,W,E,R,T switch between 1..5 BT devices on the flyFN + Q* pair keyboard with device 1, letter blinks while in pairing modeFN + Tab toggle gamer mode (enables macros on Z X C, locks out Win)FN + Z,X,C activate a macro while in gaming modeFN + Z* record up to 32 key macro - win/shift will blink, FN + Z* to saveFN + Alt_L swap Alt_L and Win_L and toggle Win_L lockoutFN + Win_L restore Alt_L and toggle Win_L lockoutFN + Capslock swap Capslock and Ctrl_LFN + A Windows key layout (normal Win_L and Alt_L)FN + S MacOS key layout (swap Win_L and Alt_L)FN + Space* reset the keyboardLighting: ( * = interactive )FN + Ins RGB side select: RGB Fade, RGB Chase, R, B, G, M, Y, C, W, OffFN + Home Backlight mode: On, Breathe, Fan, Wave, Spin, Simmer, Swell, Sparkle, Scan, Hazard, Reflect, Touch*, Poke*, Sine, Droplet*, Row*, Split*, OffLow battery: FN key brightly flashingCharging: Red backlight offset left of center of the space barBT switched on: Whole keyboard lighting does a little danceNOTE: To type Alt-F4 you MUST type Alt firmly, then FN + 4. Fine as a beginner BT mechanical keyboard
Pretty good introductory mechanical keyboard. Some connectivity issues when logging in to Windows. Still trying to figure out if it's best to keep this keyboard in wired mode.ESC button is not mapped properly. Although "Esc" is the main function for the key, it registers as "`". AutoHotKey fixes the problem, but I should not have to run a script to remap my keyboard for escape function.Blue LED let lighting is fine if you don't need RGB. Side RGB lighting looks good. Will do for now. Don't get this at full price.

Good built quality, really responsive over bluetooth
Im a developer so I wanted a small keyboard that had keys closer together so I could type faster while also keeping my workspace minimal. After using this keyboard for a few days, I liked it so much that I bought a 2nd one to keep at work. The keys are very responsive and have a great clicky feel to them. The bluetooth connection works great and there is no latency that I have noticed when using it compared to using a cable. Its also nice that this can charge while being used in bluetooth mode as well. The battery lasts several days and the keyboard goes into standy to save battery very quickly which helps alot. The keycaps are easy to remove which was nice because I like to customize my keycaps alot. I tried out both the blue switches and the brown switches with these keybaords. The blue one is great for when Im gaming as I love having that tactile feedback. I use the brown switches on my work keyboard though because I find they have a good feel when typing and are also nice and quiet so they dont annoy my coworkers.I also like that the keyboard is compact. I find myself getting it to use with my living room TV when playing games or browsing youtube. They keyboard even allows you to easily turn off the backlight so it doesnt annoy me while im watching a movie. Its very easy to switch between the 5 diferent bluetooth pairing connections that it can save.Itworks great for gaming too, I find myself wining more games when I use this keyboard ito play warzone or halo. I think it has to do with the quick response rate and how well I can feel the clicks on the switches.Overall this was an excellent keyboard, the price was fair and the build quality and performance was excellent.

Satisfied mechanical keyboard.
Very good mechanical keyboard given the prices. I bought a black keyboard with blue mechanical switches I am using with MacBook Pro and it works as expected. Also, at this price the build quality is great and I think it will much last longer. It has good look with LED light and a side multi-color led light. The keyboard goes to sleep when not in use so if I walk away from your desk it just needs to be woken up before typing away. The connectivity of the device is dual(wired & wireless) and needs to press the (fn + Q) key for a few seconds until the Q key light starts blinking.Overall, I am happy with the keyword because so far don’t face any issue over wireless connectivity and I can confirm I am ettin the same response over the wireless as wired and build quality is great, multiple RGB led light option.
