Great 'repair' for our leather couch!
I should have taken before/after pics of my couch but I forgot! We have a grey leather couch, one we thought was all leather. Turns out parts are leather and parts are not. The parts that were not leather started to delaminate all of a sudden and looked horrible. I watched some Youtube channel that suggested using these leather paints to paint over the parts that were delaminated. I figured for the price of these paints it couldn't hurt to try and wouldn't make it look any worse than it did.I am happy to report it did fabulously! I had to order a few colors and mix them together (trial and error) to get the right shade to match our couch. I just used a small glass dish, poured the paints in and mixed them together, tested, adjusted colors, etc. It was SUPER EASY to do. This is not creating new leather, but because it is paint that is suitable to paint onto leather, it dries flexible. This is what makes it good to cover spots where the material has delaminated.Tips:peel off ALL flaking pieces of the material, even if it makes a larger bare spot.Paint a layer using a small "artist" style brush, so you have more control over where it goes.Let the layer dry before adding a new a layer. My first layer really kind of soaked into the fuzzy fabric, but other layers did just fine. I added about 5 or 6 layers. I waited several hours or overnight, mostly because I had to order new colors to try to make a better match. I think layers of some colors that were close but not quite kind of added some depth, since our couch is not a single shade of grey.Final layer add a top coat (matte, satin, or gloss). This one needs to dry overnight.End result, the bare patches are totally covered. Have withstood our dog laying on top of it (top of the couch). From a short distance, blends right in. You would not notice it unless you were looking for it. It feels rougher to the touch, but I will take that for a $30 fix over a $3000 replacement.

Even A Novis Can Do A Great Job!
I've been looking for a pair of white closed toe sandals that I liked and were comfortable for a couple of years. I just found a pair of Korks (which I love) here on Amazon and thought they were light enough that I should be able to get them "dyed" white. Not long after I received them, I started looking through the site to see if there was a way I could color them. First I thought of white shoe polish, but the only white shoe polishes they have are to help bring back the whiteness in already white shoes. I saw this Angelus Acrylic Paint and read the reviews. Everyone noted that it covered well and was easy to use. I figured I'd give it a try as the worst thing that could happen was it didn't work and I'd have to take them to a local shoe shop to have them "dye" them for me.Let me first say I am neither a painter nor an artistic person. I can paint a wall, but who can't (ha ha)! I purchased the paint in white as well as ordering their Acrylic Finisher and an inexpensive pack of sponge brushes. As you can see....IT WORKED!!!! I finally have a pair of white closed toe sandals that are really comfortable and I love. The painting was easy and after letting them sit for a couple of days I applied the finisher to give them a little shine and to seal and protect the paint. Clean up was a breeze with a little running water in the sink. I couldn't be more happy. Believe me, if I can do it ANYONE can!!!!!As an FYI, I gave the "sheerness" one star as the paint isn't supposed to be sheer -- it's supposed to cover the leather and make it white! If I ever have another home project or have a friend who does Angelus paint is the product I'm going to use and recommend. So thankful for a great American made product!

Highly recommend!
This stuff is really good! I bought it for some costume boots that were way too bright of red. I'm not even sure what they were made of but it was some sort of fake leather or vinyl or something. I used deglazer first and then very thin coats of the paint (diluted with water). It beaded up a bit on the surface, but it dried fairly evenly with only a few splotches. A second coat evened everything out, and more thin coats would probably help even more.Oh, and as a lot of other reviews mentioned, a little goes a long way! I did a test on the inside flat of the boots and just a single dip of paint with a cotton dauber did the entire surface with plenty to spare. It's crazy how far a little bit of the paint goes.

Unbelievably great!
Absolutely a great quality product! It was easy to apply on our leather furniture. No mess at all. Dries so well without any concerns for later on. It increases the beauty and look of leather three times more after it's dried. We started to buy only one bottle, the trial went better than our imagination, so, we got four more bottles for a seven-sit set furniture.

Does the job 👍
I wanted wedge sandals to match my khaki colored sun hat. But I only had white leather wedges. I purchased the color BEIGE acrylic leather paint because I thought it would match best. The cap has a paintbrush attached to it, which I was not expecting. I already had a pack of new paint brushes and I used a medium width brush to do the job.The paint goes on smoothly, but you have to be mindful of the stroking technique. If you use short strokes, you will see the result in the paint. I had to use long swift strokes to coat it as evenly as possible so that the strokes would not appear.Overall, painting both of my shoes took less than 30 minutes and I am very pleased with the result, especially since I've never done this before. I APPLIED A SECOND COAT after the first coat dried and it looks nearly perfect now. It's important to keep in mind that the directions stated that I should prep the leather before painting. I did no prep whatsoever. I just made sure that the leather was clean and dry.

The product was excellent for the required purpose, my wife had a pair of cream coloured sandals. The leather upper was all crazed and my wife said she would throw them away.I decided to try and sort them out,I purchased the above product. After cleaning the sandals properly,I painted over the complete sandals with a wide artists brush. The result was amazing, the wife now has a new pair of sandals.Very easy to do with excellent results,I would definitely recommend this product and company.
