GEWB16K10035 Genuine OEM Bake Burner Igniter Kit for GE Gas Ovens

This is also a replacement for WB16K0029. I like that the bracket for the igniter has two ways to connect the igniter so it will fit various ovens. Exact fit for our Kenmore oven. The igniter came intact and works like a charm (sorry to those other reviewers whose igniter came in pieces). This kept me from buying another oven for a few more years. Yay!

Works on JGB920SEC3SS GE ProfileThe parts were packaged nice and the boxes from the outside looked fine. However once I opened the igniter it was broken. Luckily I had a second one because I was going to replace my broiler igniter too. I would have returned it but the burner was already installed.

Our Kenmore range is over 20 years old, and we use the oven very frequently for baking (we had to replace the igniter a few years back). This time around I noticed the classic "bad igniter" behavior (the flame turning on and off very frequently) and I noticed there was a 1" hole in the burner just where the igniter is located. We ordered this comgination (burner + igniter) - we weren't sure it would fit our range model, but it did. The range model is 362.75875691 and the parts fit perfectly. It's been going for a few weeks... no problems whatsoever.

Bottom burner for A GE oven. Product arrived with a broken igniter. However I'm usually pleased with everything I've purchased this was disappointing,it was even wrapped with foam tightly which tells me it was probably thrown around! We'll see how the return process is..

Works fine except the ignitor mount is wrong positions it to low the original had it up another inch or so so I had to bend it .

ProsI was able to make the everything work.ConThe Plug did not fit into the plug on the over cable I had to splice it in.Solution.....1. Cut off the plug from the old ignitor (make sure you leave enough wire on it)2. Cut off the plug from the new ignitor (make sure you leave enough wire on it)2. Spliced the old plug to the new ignitor.Not ideal but it worked just fine.

Perfect fit, I took the oven door off to make simple, my case I open door slightly and lift up and door comes off, I then just unscrew burner cover, remove it, unplug connector underneath, unscrew bake burner, it was very simple and few good YouTube videos! FYI u may need to adjust air mixture, no big deal, when I was done I used stop watch before and after to test timing and proper working, igniter was Approx 24seconds then gas valve opened and operated as should * I tried mine with oven door open because if it doesn’t operate as should you don’t want a flash ignition, igniter should come on 1st glow Approx 24seconds and light, my next step was to shut oven door 90% and let oven cycle on off from preheat to 350 degrees which it will cycle on and off to keep temp range set which would be normal, my situation was a perfect repair , good luck hope this helps.
