These are just the right size, and length. They wrapped around the top of my patio exactly 2 times, so a perfect fit. Turned them on with the remote to make certain all is well, then plugged them in to a timer, so they come on just before dark, cut off late after every one is in bed, then cuts on again as I'm getting up early in the morning, and cuts off just after sunrise. Very warm glow on the patio..a classy look. Glad I bought these. But not sure how to replace a bulb if one goes out. But right now, they all still work like new.

Guys. I bought these almost 3 years ago for my sophomore college dorm. As of last week, I have officially moved back to my home town, and these lights are still perfectly in tact!!! I have taken them and moved them from 3 different locations, and never once has a single bulb gone out. Came back 3 years later after I just put them back to write this bomb review. These are amazing!!!

The cord before the lights start is long, so I was able to plug it in in my classroom and hang them where I wanted to without worrying about them reaching. This is a long string of lights. It looks so petty in my classroom and the multiple settings are great for a lot of things! During small group work the kids know it’s time to change group when the lights twinkle. And the remote obviously makes it simple

PLEASE READ IF THE LENGTH IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU, ok so the lights work great and they’re super bright and all, however, the length of the lights is said to be about 40 feet (which is how long I needed these lights to be) but I did not realize that 10 feet worth of the strand would just be wire, with no lights attached. So it’s actually roughly 30 feet of actual wire w/ lights. You’re welcome.

Ordered the first string. Installed perfectly. Added 3 more strings. Still working very well. The only thing I would hope for is a little more brightness from the bulbs. However, with a maximum 5 strings together, the issue could be the initial controller. Overall, very well. 9 months later: 1/2 of the lights no longer work!! Looked great to begin with - not so much now!!

I didn't like how it was wrapped in ball when i opened it up. Unraveling was a bit of a puzzle. Annoying. However, for the price, these are a really nice size and soft and warm. I am returning a set that i paid three times this and it was just big glass bulbs, huge green cords..had to screw the bulbs in. Too much trouble. I bought the set that comes with the remote control and it's worth it. You can dim it, make brighter (not by much but dim versus bright there is a noticeable difference. so it's a nice option to have). You can change how it illuminates - steady light (my preferences) or blinking, moving (not my preference but who knows!). Worth it. Enjoying!

I have these lights hanging in my classroom, and I love them. I will be buying more!

These lights are not good quality, though they appear to be fairly well constructed. They FLICKER when on the 'always on' setting. So I requested a replacement set (assuming the defective lights were an anomaly) and these arrived today and they also FLICKER randomly on the 'always on' setting! Unbelievably bad quality control! I own a set of this type of globe lights already (a different brand) and after 3 years they still work perfectly well. No weird flickering on the 'always on' setting. With these new lights I tried different outlets (as if that mattered) and it made no difference. I also tried the outlet and cord that I had my Christmas tree lights plugged into and they still flicker! I toggled through all the light settings and you can see the random 'flicker' even with other light configurations. I cannot believe there is any quality control going on - as I simply plugged them in to test them first and the flicker was noticeable within several seconds. Is it the power transformer, the power adapter that's bad? On both sets I ordered? I don't know. I'm fed up with this brand of these lights. Will not purchase from them again. Hope to find a good quality light set that simply works. I've included a video of the flicker so you can see it. Both sets of lights did this same thing. The flicker is more pronounced than on the video but you can see it clearly.
