I have a really nice player with great sound for my i-pod. My i-phone would not work in that player. All it did was pick up a little of the speaker sound, but not much. I might as well just used the speaker on my i-phone. This little gadget works like a charm. I just plugged it into my player, plugged my i-phone into the little gadget, and it picked up the player I have and the sound is GREAT! Much better than having to buy a whole new player, since mine is so good anyway. Saved me money and time. Fantastic product.

This item works well and gets the job done. Being an extender for the lifeproof case I was expecting it to fit a little bit better. The part of the lifeproof case that unhindges for the charger has to be bent back a little farther I feel like it should. I was a little worried that it was going to break. This item gets the job done for what I need it for and for what I paid.

I needed something that would offer a buffer from my Otterbox iPhone case and my new iHome alarm clock. This little thing does its job well but you need to be careful not to break it or bend one of the 30 pins since it is made cheaply. The only nuisance about it is how it attaches to the iPhone when it is disconnected from the iHome. Other than that, it's a great buy that saves me time and energy not having to disassemble my iPhone Otterbox case every time I want to use my iHome. Highly recommended.

This was great for the week that it worked. I was able to use my dock along with my Otterbox case. However, the build quality on this is so poor, that it broke within a week of normal use. I would not recommend this product to anyone considering how fast it broke. The female side of the connector recessed even further into the body, and it now does not work at all. It's also not easy to open up this connector to see if I could fix it, so I'm left with a piece of plastic. Don't buy it!

I bought this as a gift for someone who had just gotten an iPhone 4 and her iHome was for an iPhone 3 (turned out there was a way to change the iHome to take the 4) so I can only write a minimal review.Pros:The quality of the materials seemed sturdy. It worked (music played and it charged) when I plugged it in between my iPod and my FM transmitter. It is black (the iHome is also black). It fits into an iPhone 4 with an Otterbox case on it.Cons: It is a bit more expensive than the white extender.Other thoughts:I'm not sure if it will transfer data or just audio, I did not test that.Yes I would recommend this to a friend IF your iDevices are black and have the 30 pin Apple port. If your device is white you might want to look at the white one. If your device has the Lightning port look for another extender.

I would given this a 5 star if shipping would have been alot quicker. This item took almost a month to arrive from overseas. With today's technology, it should have arrived here within a week.Anyway this item fits right through my ipad case, and my ipod touch case nicely without having to remove the casing in each devices. It works very well. The price is super good.

No one in town seems to carry this item or know anything about it. It is great for those who have an IPhone with the impact case and found you can't use your docking stations without removing the case or pulling it back. This extender solves this problem. I have a IHome player at work and like to dock my phone but wasn't able to once I got the new case. Not anymore... works great. This was a great price as well compared to some I researched.

As the title says, this device does what it is supposed to do. I wanted to be able to charge my devices on an iHome alarm clock without taking them out of their protective cases. This device does allow the charge to pass through, and I haven't received any messages about the charging device not being supported.With that said, I haven't used these much, because they raise the height of the iPhone and iPad to the point where they are not easily supported. I placed some things behind the device to help support them during charging, but I discontinued this because it still did not seem sturdy. I stopped using this after a short time due to fear of it breaking off inside my device. As I said earlier, the extender does what it says it does, but it wasn't very useful for the application I had intended to use it for. It might work for you, but I would assume that most people that search for these are looking to solve a similar problem to the one I had.

I bought two of these for use with my iPhone 4 when I needed an extender after I purchased that Lifeproof case. I've used them now for nearly a month and they perform as designed and described.

A simple little extender,fits great on my Bose dock now i can play my iphone on it without having to take off my case.
