Well I don't have a green enough tumb for these.
The seed trays are a bit more smaller then I thought. I tried to grow some starts to early ether that or I didn't give my starts enough light. Will try again next year who knows maybe I will have better luck next time.

Love these
Love these trays. They are easy to use, love the tops , easy to clean and I would buy again.I tried the silicone trays but I notice a odor in them when transplanting my plants plus you only get 3 trays. I would have returned them but my expiration time ran out. I would buy these again plus you get more trays for your money.

Seedlings outgrow the trays too fast.
17 days after planting my tomatoes of different varieties i had to transplant them to larger containers. The roots were already growing through the clear trays and plenty of root mass within. They did a fine job of growing seeds as they sprouted in as little as 3 days! Humidity domes worked fine but i never used the damper on top. I actually removed the green damper and used a piece of clear packing tape in its place instead to allow more light to get through. As you can see i didn't break the bank on grow lights and honestly i see no need too. $16 each from the big orange home improvement store. Keep them no more than 2" off and wahla you have plants! Once the seeds germinate and sprout remove the lids. Its a bit combersome to water the trays by removing it and putting water in the tub carrier below it but thats a problem i could see with any tray. These trays were the perfect width to fit in my shallow window sill and definitely did the trick for my first time. Ill use them for other starters like lettuces coming up but for tomatoes i think ill grow directly in clear 16oz party cups. This way i dont shock the plant with an unnecessary transplant and damage the roots in the process and it allows me to add dirt over time to cover the stem to create a solid root system. Also remember to cover your dirt with either sand or vermiculite to keep fungus nats away and to prevent fungus from growing which i did habe a problem with. I also run a small fan at all times which really helps with that.
