I think this is one of the better tire/wheel cleaners for the price. I have it on a subscription for at least a couple of years so I’ve received several bottles. As soon as you spray it on a dirty tire you can see the dirt starting to melt off. It requires brushing to do a good job. Using a brush with medium hard bristles and a pressure washer is better. On my car that I wash weekly I never have to spray a 2nd time. In fact, I sometimes can skip the wheels and tires if I stick to my weekly schedule. If I wash someone else’s car I sometimes apply a 2nd coat to confirm I got all the dirt off and I’m impressed with how well it cleans with just one application. It doesn’t really leave a shine, but it looks clean. I would use gloves though. It feels very slippery if you get it on your hands and who knows what chems are in it. I think I got used to the smell as I’ve been using a couple of years, but I remember it leaving an egg smell and if it gets trapped inside the car you’ll have to air it out. I’ve also bought a Maguires version of the same thing. That one I don’t think smelled but the Turtle Wax seemed to do a better job. I think the pink color helps you know where you need to scrub and where you already cleaned. The foaming action makes it easy to spread and apply.

This works like magic. Melts away years of residue and grime on tires. Probably overkill if using frequently, but for tough jobs there is nothing better that I have found.

From what I can tell, it works well. After spraying it on, the foam starts turning brownish and you can smell what I'm guessing is some sort of reaction removing all the gunk on the tire. It seems to work great and only takes a minute. Tire looks much cleaner although I did not wipe it with a clean towel to see what was left over. There was still some residue left over on the rims so that needed a separate wipe down. Overall, saves me a lot of time and process is simple. I estimate the bottle will last around 6-8 washes. Followed it up with their tire coating.

Did a good job of cleaning the wheels it some agitation but not a big fan of the foam application

this is amazing.. i have real detailed rims ive bought several brushes and tools to clean them and i just always seem to miss areas of them. i sprayed this cleaner on not really expecting much and to my suprise my rims look fab it got everything clean. so ive ordered more :)

Works amazingly well. Kinda smells funny. One bottle goes quick though.

Kind of expensive for just cleaning wheels, but it does a great job. Just follow the instructions and don't leave it on the wheel for too long before scrubbing and rinsing it off.

Let me start off with the pros. This is a great wheel and tire cleaner, and is well thought out in its development. The product goes on even, turns a fun purple color to show the cleaning action, and rinses clean. When drying my wheels and tires after using this and a brush, the drying towel was still clean, zero dirt left over. As a cleaner it is fantastic. I also think this performs better than the products it is attempting to mimic (Adams and P&S Brakebuster).Here’s the catch though…..This product has the same initial/main ingredients as the Turtle Wax Wheel and Tire Cleaner in the green bottle. This product is $13 vs the green bottle that averages under $4 at your local Wally World. The OG green bottle cleans just as well as this product, it just doesn’t turn a fancy purple color or provide a perceived layer of protection.This is not a knock on Turtle Wax, as I support this company fully and use many of their products. My theory is that a few years ago the company started making great products at a very affordable price (Wheel and Tire Cleaner, MAX Wash, ICE Spray Wax, and arguably the best value product in detailing there is, Seal N Shine).However, due to human nature and marketing, many people did not give these products the credit they deserve because they weren’t boutique and overpriced. Now that TW got their chemistry on point, they needed to up the marketing machine and charge way more for products. Do this and VOILA! Now they are reputable.If you want to be the envy of your detailing forum buddies and get that sweet internet approval, buy this product. If you want to save some cash and buy 4 bottles of something that works just as great, get the green bottle.
