This is a nice attachment but it was difficult to fit on a 30 mm Bosch hose that I usually use for Bosch sanders.The 40 mm attachment did fit perfectly with my vacuum cleaner hose, but only gave me about 1 metre to work with instead of my usual 5 metres with my bosch hose. I solved the issue by using a smaller hose connector which I had from a previous multi tool kit from another brand, for my bosch 30mm hose, then I connected that to a rubber step hose reducer which came with my vacuum cleaner. I had to cut the hose reducer to fit to the 40mm extractor attachment which worked. The suction was good, and I like the idea of using a 5 metre hose, which gives me plenty of hose length for sanding staircases when I can keep the vacuum cleaner stable on a flat surface between floors. Apart from that this product works well, but it would be good if the product came with a40 mm - 30 mm adapter for people that already have the Bosch 30 mm hose.

This is a must have item. I started out a desk refinishing project without it and the dust got everywhere. After purchasing and attacking this device to my vacuum cleaning there was no more dust all over my shed.

It works with the Bosch triangular sander, and probably also with the Fein sander with dust extraction. It is quite effective. I was sanding some drywall repairs, and dust was minimal. It does not work with any other blade.
