I play solo and often get to gigs on the bus or Uber. I HATE the size of regular mic stands. Now I can put all my crap in a backpack and have this little guy peeking out of the top. That and my guitar and I'm good to go.

I have my mic stand mounted to my pedalboard. So, i wanted to have a stand that would collapse and i could carry inside my pedalboard. The only stand i could find is call Air Turn. they sell the same exact stand as the K &M. The only difference is the Air Turn is a horrible poorly made piece of junk Which fell apart on me and costs more. this stand arrived 2 weeks ago and all i can say is WOW it's so well made and has the strongest metal casted not cheap aluminum which falls apart. couldn't be happier.. Love K & M

For the price this is good but I’d rather pay more for a more sturdy stand. But this is the only one I could find that goes this low and high. At maximum height it needs more stability if you’re using a reflection filter. I bought sandbags to weigh down the bottom cause it’s not heavy enough.

This is the ONLY short microphone stand I have found on the market, other than very small low-profile stands. Its minimum height is much lower than standard two-tube mic stands, because it has three segments rather than two. This also gives it a very compact folded size. The stand is just what I needed to hold a tablet computer at music stand height. It also extends to normal mic stand height, so one has a wide range of setup options. It's built to the normal high K&M standards. Excellent product. I will be ordering at least one more. (I wish they also made a tall version that extends a big higher than standard mic stands; I'd buy those too.)

K and M make great products and this is no exception. Well built, solid and continuously adjustable.

Perfect for me cuz Its the only stand I could find that collapses small enough to fit into the saddlebags of my motorcycle. Only owning a motorcycle and hosting shows you often have to bring your own equipment.

I give this stand 5 stars because besides being very portable, it can go lower than most stands on the market. Very well thought out and made.
